Staggered fluid ejection dies may include first, second and third fluid ejection dies, each of the dies having fluid feed passages between first and second long edges. And electrical interconnect may extend from a location proximate the first long edge of each of the fluid ejection dies. A temperature sensor may be supported proximate the second long edge of each of the fluid ejection dies. Each of the fluid ejection dies may omit temperature sensors proximate the first long edge.

Print head die with thermal control

A replaceable printer component includes a memory device to store a tag encryption mask and data. The data is stored in a plurality of blocks of the memory device wherein each block is defined by a tag. The tag encryption mask indicates an encryption status of each block of the memory device defined by the tag. The replaceable printer component includes a communication link to communicatively link the memory device to a printer controller when the replaceable printer component is installed in a printing system. The tag encryption mask is stored within a header of the memory device. Each tag defines a type and a length of the data stored in the blocks.

Replaceable printer component

A replaceable printer component includes a memory and a communication link. The memory stores a tag encryption mask and data. The data is stored in a plurality of portions of the memory where each portion is defined by a tag. The tag encryption mask indicates an encryption status of each portion of the memory defined by a tag. The communication link is configured to communicatively link the memory to a printer controller when the replaceable printer component is installed in a printing system.

A print head die may include a substrate, an electrical connector and at least three liquid feed slots. The electrical connector is on a first side of the substrate and extends along the major dimension of the substrate. The electrical connector is connectable directly to an electrical interconnect to connect the print head die to a controller. The at least three liquid feed slots are formed in the substrate and extend along the major dimension of the substrate. Wherein at least one and less than all of the at least three liquid feed slots has an associated temperature sensor connected to the electrical connector.

A print head die with thermal control is described. In an example, a print head die includes a substrate having liquid feed slots formed therein extending along a major dimension of the substrate and nozzles extending along opposite sides of each of the liquid feed slots; a temperature sensor formed on the substrate adjacent to a first one of the liquid feed slots; and electrical interconnect formed on the substrate along the major dimension adjacent to a last one of the liquid feed slots farthest from the first liquid feed slot.

An apparatus and method support a plurality of print head dies () on a print bar (). The plurality of print head dies () comprise a print head die () having a circuit () forming a series () of information bits (), wherein bit locations in the series () are mapped to information type definitions based on a location of the print head die () on the print bar () relative to other print head dies () on the print bar ().
