A medical device includes a clevis, a first blade, a second blade, and a tension member. The first and second blades are rotatably coupled to the clevis. The first blade includes a first coupling portion. The tension member is coupled to the first blade and applies a torque to the first blade to rotate the first blade about the clevis between a first, second, and third orientation. The second blade includes a second coupling portion. The second coupling portion is coupled to the first coupling portion such that A) the second blade remains in a fixed position relative to the clevis when the first blade is between the first and second orientation, and B) rotation of the first retractor blade between the second and third orientation transfers at least a portion of the torque to the second retractor blade causing rotation of the second blade about the clevis.

An exemplary medical imaging system includes an imaging device that includes a visible light camera configured to obtain image data representative of a two-dimensional visible light image of a scene and a depth sensor separate from the visible light camera and configured to obtain depth data representative of a depth map of the scene. The medical imaging system further includes a image processing system communicatively coupled to the imaging device and configured to generate, based on the image data and the depth data, a right-side perspective image of the scene and a left-side perspective image of the scene that together form a stereoscopic image of the scene.

The marker band can include a band portion and a single indicator protruding from the band portion. A delivery system for delivering a medical device through a vasculature includes a capsule for housing the medical device during delivery and a marker band attached to a proximal end of the capsule. The marker band can include a base portion and a protrusion that can be configured to extend from the base portion towards a distal end of the capsule. Related methods are also described.

A medical device loading system can comprise a first housing, a second housing, and a plate. The first housing comprises a first open end, a first tapered inner surface, and a second open end. The second housing comprises a third open end, a second tapered inner surface, and a fourth open end. The second housing can define a slot between the second tapered surface and the third open end. The plate can be configured to be slidably received within the slot. The loading system can further comprise a first elongated member and a second elongated member.

A crimping tool includes a housing portion defining a funnel segment and a suture locking mechanism positioned to lock sutures therein. One or more sutures can be coupled with a prosthesis and secured to the suture locking mechanism. The suture locking mechanism can be operated to draw the prosthesis through the funnel segment.

A delivery device for percutaneously deploying a prosthetic valve includes a sheath, an inner shaft, and a release assembly. The release assembly is disposed between the sheath and the inner shaft, and includes a retraction member, a release member, and a retention member. The retraction member can self-retract in length from an extended condition to a retracted condition. The release member can self-expand from a compressed condition to an expanded condition. The retention member is distal the release member. In a delivery state, the sheath end is distal the retention member, the release member is in the compressed condition and the retraction member in the extended condition to retain the prosthesis. In a deployment state, the sheath end is positioned to permit the release member to self-transition to the expanded condition, allowing the retraction member to self-transition to the retracted condition and release the prosthesis.
