Technology for a repeater with a trumped amplifier network is disclosed. The repeater can include two or more signal paths corresponding to two or more bands. The repeater can include a first coupler network communicatively coupled to the two or more signal paths. The repeater can include a second coupler network communicatively coupled to an antenna port. The repeater can include two or more amplifier networks between the first coupler network and the second coupler network. A signal received via the first coupler network can be distributed to the two or more amplifier networks for amplification and combined using the second coupler network to produce an amplified output signal.

Technology for a diversity bi-directional repeater is disclosed. The diversity bi-directional repeater can include a first interface port, a second interface port, a 1first-direction signal amplification and filtering path communicatively coupled between the first interface port and the second interface port, and a 1second direction signal amplification and filtering path communicatively coupled between the first interface port and the second interface port. The diversity bi-directional repeater can further include a third interface port, a fourth interface port, and a 2second direction signal amplification and filtering path communicatively coupled between the third interface port and the fourth interface port.

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) repeater system

A technology is described for a bi-directional amplifier remote monitoring system. A directional coupler can have a first port, a second port, and a third port. The first port can be configured to be coupled to a bi-directional amplifier first port. The second port can be configured to be coupled to a server antenna port. The third port can be configured to be coupled to a wireless modem. The directional coupler can be configured to direct a downlink signal with a selected amount of attenuation from the bi-directional amplifier first port to the wireless modem. The directional coupler can be configured to direct a modem signal with the selected amount of attenuation from the wireless modem to the bi-directional amplifier first port for communication on an uplink path of the bi-directional amplifier.

Repeater with integrated modem for remote monitoring

Technology for a diversity bi-directional repeater is disclosed. The diversity bi-directional repeater can include a first interface port, a second interface port, a 1first-direction signal amplification and filtering path communicatively coupled between the first interface port and the second interface port, and a 1second direction signal amplification and filtering path communicatively coupled between the first interface port and the second interface port. The diversity bi-directional repeater can further include a third interface port, a fourth interface port, a 2first-direction signal amplification and filtering path communicatively coupled between the third interface port and the fourth interface port, and a 2second direction signal amplification and filtering path communicatively coupled between the third interface port and the fourth interface port.

A technology is described for feedback cancellation in a multiband booster. The repeater can comprise: a server antenna port; a donor antenna port; a first direction amplification and filtering path coupled between the server antenna port and the donor antenna port; a second direction amplification and filtering path coupled between the server antenna port and the donor antenna port; a first-direction two-antenna feedback cancellation circuit coupled between the server antenna port and the donor antenna port to reduce antenna-to-antenna feedback for a single band in a first direction between a donor antenna and a server antenna; and a second-direction two-antenna feedback cancellation circuit coupled between the server antenna port and the donor antenna port to reduce antenna-to-antenna feedback for the single band in a second direction between the donor antenna and the server antenna.

Technology for a repeater system is disclosed. The repeater system can include a first repeater. The repeater system can include a second repeater that is communicatively coupled to the first repeater via a transmission line between the first repeater and the second repeater. The first repeater can include a controller operable to determine that a change in loss across the transmission line between the first repeater and the second repeater has occurred based on signaling between the first repeater and the second repeater.

Technology for a channelization device of a wideband repeater is disclosed. The channelization device can include a first diplexer and a second diplexer. The channelization device can include a plurality of switchable signal paths between the first diplexer and the second diplexer operable to perform channelized passive filtering of signals in defined bands. The channelization device can include a plurality of switchable pass through signal paths between the first diplexer and the second diplexer operable to pass through signals in the defined bands without filtering of the signals. The channelization device can be configured to perform channelized passive filtering of signals with no amplification of the signals.

Technology for multi-amplifier repeaters to offset at least a portion of a determined transmission loss across a RF wired signal path coupled the repeaters, while complying is regulator constraints, is disclosed. A repeater can use an RF reference signal or the RF communication signals to determine the transmission loss across the RF wired signal path, while the repeaters amplify the RF communication signals.

Multi-amplifier booster for a wireless communication system

A technology is described for a channelization of a signal booster. A downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) signal can be channelized. A base station coupling loss (BSCL) can be estimated for selected channels in the channelized downlink signal. One or more channels in the UL and/or DL signal can be filtered to increase the BSCL, in order to increase one or more of an uplink signal gain and a noise power for the signal booster while maintaining network protections.

A technology is described for increasing signal booster while maintaining network protections. A distance from the signal booster to one or more base stations can be estimated. A base station coupling loss (BSCL) value can be calculated based on the estimated distance. A gain and/or a noise power of an uplink signal of the frequency band can be adjusted based on the BSCL value while maintaining network protections.
