The present invention is directed to a method of inactivating virus that is present during production of a polypeptide of interest. In particular, the present invention is directed to a method of on-column virus inactivation using a low pH and high salt wash solution that effectively inactivates viruses with minimum recovery loss of the polypeptide.

On-column viral inactivation methods

The present disclosure provides methods and compositions for separating polypeptide glycoforms using a medium that includes an Fc receptor. In certain embodiments, a medium includes an Fc receptor which comprises an extracellular portion of an Fc gamma RIII receptor.

Polypeptide separation methods

The present invention relates to methods of generating highly concentrated protein solutions, e.g., an antibody solution, a therapeutic protein solution, etc. The methods of the invention include membrane evaporation, such as evaporation of protein-free solvent from the protein solution, which concentrates the protein. The methods of the present invention result in protein solution concentrations not previously achievable by conventional ultrafiltration methods, e.g., protein solution concentrations of greater than about 260 grams of protein per liter of solution.
