A method is described for controlling fuel injection in an spontaneous ignition engine equipped with an electronically controlled fuel injection system and with an electronic control unit receiving engine quantities comprising the pressure in the combustion changer of the engine and closed-loop controlling the fuel injection system on the basis of the pressure in the combustion chamber, in which the pressure in the combustion chamber is determined as a function of engine kinematic quantities such as the engine speed and the crank angle and of the fuel injection law, which is defined by the quantity of fuel injected and by the crank angle at the start of injection.

A Common Rail injection system of an endothermic engine, the injection system including at least one fuel pressure accumulating tank, of the rail type, having an input in fluid communication with a high-pressure pump and a plurality of outputs for feeding corresponding injectors by using pressure regulating means connected and depending on an electronic control unit. Advantageously a virtual pressure sensor includes a fluid-dynamic model of the accumulating tank suitable to estimate and to obtain fluid pressure values used by the electronic control unit for driving the injection means of the Common Rail injection system.

A blood pressure Holter system includes a pneumatic constriction sleeve to be worn on an arm of the user and includes a first sensor for acquiring systolic and diastolic values of arterial pressure of the user. A second sensor is carried adjacent a chest of the user for sensing movement of the user's body. The system further includes a detection and classification circuit for detecting and classifying movement of the user's body for producing an index of a state of physical exertion corresponding to systolic and diastolic values of arterial pressure. A fuzzy logic controller processes the systolic and diastolic values of arterial pressure using fuzzy logic.

A power modulation control system using PWM pulses is provided. The system comprises an AC voltage generator, an electric load, and a control circuit incorporating at least one rectifier. The electric load is connected between the generator and the rectifier, and first and second monodirectional switches are connected in parallel with the load.
