According to an aspect of the invention, an electrophotographic photoreceptor including a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer provided on a surface of the conductive substrate is provided. In the electrophotographic photoreceptor, an outermost layer of the photosensitive layer containing a crosslinked product formed from at least one charge transporting material having at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of &#x2014;OH, &#x2014;OCH, &#x2014;NH, &#x2014;SH, and &#x2014;COOH, an acidic substance, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the following formula (A) and compounds represented by the following formula (B). 

Electrophotographic photoreceptor, process cartridge, and image forming apparatus

Electronic devices, such as organic thin film transistors, with improved mobility are disclosed. The semiconducting layer comprises layers or striations of an organic semiconductor and graphene, including alternating layers/striations of such materials. The organic semiconductor and graphene layers interact well together because both materials form lamellar sheets. The presence of graphene enhances mobility by correcting molecular packing defects in the organic semiconductor layers, and the conductivity of graphene can be controlled. Finally, both materials are flexible, allowing for flexible semiconductor layers and transistors.

Electronic device

An image fixing member includes a substrate; an optional intermediate layer over the substrate; and an outermost layer over the intermediate layer; wherein at least one of the intermediate layer and the outermost layer comprises a healing material encapsulated within nano- or micro-capsules, wherein the healing material is capable of retaining the function of the imaging fixing member.

Self-healing fuser and fixing members

Disclosed is a photoconductive member including a self-healing composite coating having a polymer matrix, a photoconductive component, a healing material encapsulated within nano- or microcapsules, and an optional catalyst, that is capable of repairing physical damage to the photoconductive member when the capsule ruptures. Also disclosed is photoconductive member including a substrate, an undercoat layer, a charge generating layer, a charge transport layer, and an optional protective overcoat layer; in which one layer of the photoconductive member further includes a healing material encapsulated within nano- or microcapsules and an optional catalyst, and that is capable or reparing physical damage to the photoconductive member when the capsule ruptures. Also disclosed is an imaging forming apparatus including same.

Self-healing photoreceptor

Disclosed is an electrophotographic imaging member that includes a lubricant delivering coating having a polymer matrix, a charge transport component, and a lubricant encapsulated within nano- or microcapsules. Also disclosed is an imaging forming apparatus including a charging device, a toner developer device, a cleaning device, and a photoreceptor having a conductive substrate, a charge generating layer, a charge transport layer, and an optional overcoat layer, such that the outmost layer of the photoreceptor contains a lubricant encapsulated within nano- or microcapsules. Additionally provided is a method of forming an image with the disclosed electrophotographic imaging member.

A mixture comprised of at least two perylenes and wherein the mixture includes symmetrical perylenes, unsymmetrical perylenes, and unsymmetrical perylenes with dissimilar R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 terminal substituents. The perylene mixtures can be selected for photoconductive imaging members.
