A method for controlling a load-handling crane, to the load-bearing means of which a handling device is secured, wherein a sensor system ascertains position data of a part secured to the load-bearing means, and a controller is connected to the sensor system in a signal-transmitting manner and is configured to specify, on the basis of the position data, a travel direction for a control command, generated by the controller, for at least one travel drive of the crane, in particular a trolley drive and/or a crane drive. The aim of the invention is to increase efficiency and ergonomics during load-handling operation. This aim is achieved in that at least one identification feature is attached to the handling device, and the at least one marking element is detected by the sensor system, and is analyzed. The invention also relates to a load-handling crane configured to perform such a method.

A control method for a balancing lifting gear which includes a lifting motor that can be actuated by a controller and uses a control handle with a force sensor to lift and lower a load-supporting device. In a 'Balance' operating mode, the load-supporting device, with or without a picked-up load, is raised or lowered by the controller in response to a force applied by an operator. In order to ensure disturbance-free handling of a load when removing or attaching a load, a 'Pick-up' operating mode or an &#x201c;Assemble&#x201d; operating mode is selected, in which the load-supporting device is moved independently without the influence of the force of the operator by the controller in the lifting or lowering direction in dependence upon the signals determined by the force sensor. An operating device is provided for manually actuating lifting devices. The device includes at least one switching element arranged in a switch housing, wherein the switching element includes a tappet, which protrudes from the switch housing. The tappet is guided in a sleeve and is covered by a covering element having a threaded ring. The invention refers to a hanging control device connected to a unit to be managed, specifically control switches or hanging control panels in order to control hoisting gear, by means of a control line, whereby the control line contains electrical lines () to transmit control signals and strain relief, which is supported at the top of the unit to absorb weight and traction forces. In order to create a hanging control device for which the length of the control line can be easily changed, we suggest that strain relief be created by means of hose (), which can be folded flat and has the design of a type of textile hose, and that electrical lines () run through the inside of the hose.

The invention concerns a drive arrangement of a lifting gear and/or a traveling gear, with a pole-reversible rotary-current motor with windings for at least two different actuating speeds, with a pole switching element connecting the rotary-current motor to a voltage supply for changing between the actuating speeds of the rotary-current motor. The invention concerns a method for stabilizing the motion of an articulated chain of a chain block, especially to prevent the formation of resonance oscillation of the chain, in which an articulated chain is led across a polygonal chain wheel with non-uniform pitch, which is driven by an electric motor. In order to create a method to prevent the formation of a resonance oscillation of the articulated chain, it is proposed that a periodic and/or stochastic and dampening actuating variable is superimposed on the velocity of the chain wheel () and the dampening actuating variable produces a change in the chain velocity so as to prevent a formation of a resonance oscillation.
