A computer-implemented method for enhancing an offer included within an online advertisement is implemented by a computing device. The computing device is coupled to a memory device. The method includes storing, within the memory device, a plurality of online advertisements. At least some of the plurality of online advertisements include offers. The method also includes identifying a candidate offer included within an online candidate advertisement from the plurality of online advertisements stored within the memory device, validating the candidate offer including determining that a web site associated with the online candidate advertisement includes data matching the candidate offer, and enhancing the display information associated with the validated candidate offer prior to providing the online candidate advertisement associated with the validated candidate offer.

Identifying creative offers within online content

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium for rendering a content item. A method includes: providing a request to a server computer, the request in the form of a request for a content item to fill a content item slot on a page to be displayed on a client device or a request for search results; receiving, in response to the request, a content item for display on the client device; and initiating the display of the content item including executing a script that identifies a plurality of layout options for the display of the content item, evaluates the plurality of layout options based on one or more criteria, and renders the content item in accordance with one of the plurality of layout options based on the evaluation.

Adaptive content rendering

Variations in user devices may result in content being rendered differently. Knowing the amount of space required to render the content item for a user device may allow more content to be shown. In one implementation, measurement results of rendering content items from user devices with various configurations may be obtained by running scripts on the user devices. A space need of the content items may be determined based on the measurement results. The determination may include determining a probabilistic distribution of a representation of space needed for the content items. A request for a content item for display in a slot of a web page may be received and a content item may be transmitted based on the probabilistic distribution that represents a percentage of content items that are truncated when displayed in the slot.

Serving content for a space based on a probabilistic distribution

The subject matter of this specification can be implemented in, among other things, a computer-implemented method including receiving a first input from a publisher who has established an account with a content-distributing entity to publish content from others, the first input being generated based on a publisher media item configured to present at least part of the content and including code from the publisher media item for requesting the content. The method further includes obtaining the content from the content-distributing entity including using the code to generate a request for the content. The method further includes generating an analysis view available to the publisher, the analysis view generated using the content.
