An insulated glazing unit may include: a frame including a base, a cross member above the base, and two upright members for connection between the cross member and base; at least two at least partially transparent panes applied to the frame, wherein the at least two partially transparent panes and frame define a closed volume; a light ray shielding device within the closed volume; support means mechanically connected to the cross member and operably associated with the shielding device; wherein the shielding device includes slats and a bottom member, wherein the slats are connected to each other and the bottom member, wherein the shielding device is configured to alternate between a raised position, in which the slats and bottom member are compacted, and a deployed position, in which the bottom member is proximate to the base; stationary guide means at the base; and moving guide means on the bottom member.

Insulated glazing units

A box for a system for opening and closing a communication route between two separate areas, the system including separation means suitable for allowing and preventing, respectively, at least partially, crossing of the route by light, may include: a box body configured to accommodate a movement unit of the system; and support elements for the movement unit. The box body may have a major extension direction. The box body may be defined by support and closing profiles, both extending along the direction. The support profile may define at least one upper, lower, and connecting wall. The closing profile may define a closing wall. The closing profile may be removably fixable to the support profile for closing the box body. When the closing profile is fixed to the support profile, a distance between the closing wall and the connecting wall may be less than or equal to 20 millimeters.

Insulated glazing units and methods of assembling such insulated glazing units

The invention refers to a system comprising a Venetian blind or the like housed within a double glazing or a double glass. The blind comprises a multiplicity of slats movable by means of a shaft rotatable around a longitudinal axis thereof and housed in a rolling-shutter box of the double glazing. The closure system comprises means for rotating the shaft around the longitudinal axis thereof. The rotation means are housed in a lateral profile of the double glazing and are commanded by a slider translatable between an upper end stop, at which the blind is completely raised, and a lower end stop, at which the blind is completely lowered. The closure system further comprises a first mechanism which prevents a movement of the blind until, during the transport or assembly of the closure system, the rolling-shutter box is disconnected from the lateral profile. The first blocking mechanism comprises three pins that can be rotated, together with the shaft, around the longitudinal axis thereof, and that can be translated between a first position at which the three pins are housed in three respective seats obtained in the cap of the rolling-shutter box, and a second position in which the three pins lie outside said seats. While the rolling-shutter box is disconnected from the lateral profile, the three pins are housed in the respective seats so as to prevent a rotation of the shaft for moving the slats. The closure system also comprises three counter-pins integrally connected to the lateral profile and arranged in a manner so as to push the three pins outside the respective seats upon connection of the rolling-shutter box to the lateral profile, so as to allow a rotation of the shaft for moving the slats. The closure system finally comprises a second mechanism for blocking the slider when the latter is situated at the upper end stop, i.e. when the blind is completely raised.

A spacer profile for an insulating glazing unit for maintaining a space between glazing panes includes a profile body formed from a first heat insulating material that has, viewed in a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction, outer side walls extending in a height direction and that has a distance in a transverse direction smaller than a first width, each side wall having an inner protrusion protruding towards the opposite side wall into a recess which is open to the inner side, and a diffusion barrier film made from a second material and firmly bonded with the profile body and, viewed in the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, extending over the profile body on the outer side of the spacer profile and continuous thereto in the height direction on the outside of the side walls and/or in the same to a second height and into the protrusions.

A device for actuating a curtain/awning in a double glazing includes a pulley supported by support elements connected to connection elements integrally connected to a wall of the double glazing at the movement group. A ring of cord is partially wound around the pulley and is maintained taught by a tensioning element, it too connected to the wall of the double glazing. By applying a tension to the cord ring, a torque is generated tending to rotate the pulley. The torque is transmitted by suitable transmission elements to the group for moving the curtain/awning. The support elements of the pulley are separated from the connection elements for values of tension applied to the cord ring that are greater than a pre-established limit value. The separation cancels the tension of the cord.

A double glazing system, including a first sheet of glass, a second sheet of glass, a spacer element including a first surface for coupling with the first sheet of glass and a second surface for coupling with the second sheet of glass, a blind, or a screen, said spacer element made from low thermally conductive material including rubber and/or silicone foam. The spacer element includes support means including a housing made of a substantially 'T'-shaped groove made on a surface perpendicular to the first surface and to the second surface. The support means include two lateral sections for guiding said blind, screen or the like having respective substantially 'T'-shaped portions and being able to be engaged in said housing, the lateral sections including respective free ends for supporting respective end portions of said blind, screen or the like.

Double glazing system

Inside a glass-enclosed chamber is a Venetian blind connected to internal elements for operating it, the elements being workable from outside to raise, lower and incline the slats. The raw slats of the blind are obtained by moulding a rolled strip of aluminum alloy hardened by magnesium. The strip has not been lapped in order to maintain a degree of roughness on both surfaces, ready to receive a reflecting layer. Reflective stratification includes a layer of pure aluminum adherent to the body of the slat that serves to fix a reflective type of interferential dielectric multilayer. Average thickness of the layer of sputtered aluminum depends on the diffusivity of reflected radiation required in relation to the maximum height of the peaks of surface roughness on the body of the slats. Useful multilayers increase reflectance to levels averaging over 85% on a wide interval of wavelengths from near infrared to ultraviolet.
