Footwear () with retention system () comprising an upper () delimiting an inner space; the retention system () is positioned at least partially in the inner space and comprises at least one constraint element (A,B,C) designed to be positioned at the top instep area or at the side/heel area of the foot of the user, the at least one constraint element (A,B,C) being designed to pass from a loose condition to a tightened condition and vice versa. The retention system () further comprises a cord () slidably coupled to the at least one constraint element (A,B,C), tensioning means () connected to a first portion () of the cord () and designed to be handled by the user for pulling the cord () into a tensioned condition to bring the at least one constraint element () in the tightened condition and locking means () for locking the cord () in tensioned condition.

Protective helmet to be worn and to protect the head of a user against impacts and including a rigid outer shell delimiting an inner space for housing the head of user and including a front opening. The protective helmet includes a shield removably coupled to the outer shell and adapted to move at least between an operative position wherein the shield covers the front opening without allowing entrance of air in the inner space and an inoperative position wherein the inner space is accessible from the outside through the front opening, the shield being provided with a front hole. The protective helmet includes a locking device to lock the shield in the operative position. The locking device is positioned on the outer shell and includes a rotatable engaging member to engage the front hole of the shield when in the operative position.

A garment () comprising an inflatable protection device () and a housing (), the inflatable protection device () comprising at least one inflatable bag () housed in the housing () and designed to move between a rest condition, where it is in a deflated status and an operating condition, where it is in an inflated status and inflation means () connected with the inflatable bag () and designed, once triggered, for selectively inflating the inflatable bag (). The at least one inflatable bag () is manufactured with an elastic material and, in said rest condition, occupies a limited portion of said housing ().

Garment comprising an inflatable protection device

The present invention relates to a method for joining a first protective material () together with a second protective material () consisting of a thermally insulating fabric having a mesh configuration. The method comprises the steps of: providing a plurality of separate gluing points () on an inner surface () of the first protective material (); hot-pressing the second protective material () onto the first protective material (), in order to melt the plurality of separate gluing points (), so as to firmly fix the second protective material () to the first protective material (). The present invention relates furthermore to a protective garment, in particular for motorcyclists, comprising an article made using this method.

A wearable protection device, including a protective helmet with at least one first inflatable chamber for moving between a rest condition in a deflated status and an operating condition in an inflated status, and a wearable element including an inflator unit and an activation system to trigger the inflator unit if a danger situation for the user of the wearable protection device is identified. The wearable element includes at least one second inflatable chamber for moving between a rest condition when in deflated status and an operating condition when in inflated status. The inflator unit is connected to the first inflatable chamber and/or the second inflatable chamber. The inflator unit inflates the first inflatable chamber and/or the second inflatable chamber in the operating condition when a danger situation for the user of the wearable protection device is identified by the activation system.

A wearable protection device including a modular frame with at least two shaped members and hinge means for hinging the shaped members therebetween at corresponding hinging points and around respective rotation axes. Each of the hinge means includes a pivot element and a disc element which are permanently coupled by riveting of the pivot element. After the riveting, the pivot element () is closely aligned or flush with the disc element. Also provided is a method of assembling said wearable protection device and a motorcycle boot including the wearable protection device.

A protective helmet including an outer shell, an impact absorbing liner positioned inside to the outer shell and shaped so as to correspond to the shape of the wearer's head, and a comfort liner positioned at an inner surface of the impact absorbing liner so as to be in contact with the wearer's head and attached to the outer shell and/or to the impact absorbing liner by means of at least one connecting means. The comfort liner is provided with at least one elastic joint which is positioned in proximity of said at least one connecting means for joining said at least one connecting means to the comfort liner.

The present invention relates to a protective helmet () comprising: an outer shell (); an impact absorbing liner (), positioned inside the outer shell (), and a comfort liner (), positioned at an inner surface of the impact absorbing liner (), so as to be in contact with the user's head during the use of the protective helmet (). Said at least one projection () is adapted to move inside said at least one recessed seat () between a first position, wherein the first magnetic element () and the second magnetic element () are faced to each other, and a second position, wherein the first magnetic element () and the second magnetic element () are spaced apart, so that the pad back plate () is releasable from the impact absorbing liner ().

A wearable protection device including at least one inflatable member for moving between a rest configuration in a deflated status and an active configuration in an inflated status. The at least one inflatable member including at least one elongated portion which departs from a connecting body and the at least one elongated portion being in fluid communication with the connecting body. At least one part of the at least one elongated portion is enwrapped by at least one constraint which is designed to limit the expansion of said at least one elongated portion when the inflatable member moves in the active configuration.

A garment comprising an inflatable protective device. The inflatable protective device includes at least one inflatable bag, an inflator unit designed for inflating the at least one inflatable bag, sensors designed for monitoring the user's body for detecting shocks or unexpected movements, and a control unit designed for processing the data provided by the sensors and for activating the inflator unit if, on the basis of the data received by the sensors, a danger situation is identified. The control unit includes storing means containing at least two different setup parameter sets and/or firmwares of the control unit for controlling the activation of the inflator unit. A wearable protection device including at least one inflatable member designed to move between a rest condition in a deflated status and an operating condition in an inflated status, and an inflator device designed to be coupled to the at least one inflatable member for inflating said at least one inflatable member once the inflator device is triggered. The wearable protection device includes a safety device designed to signal an unsafe state of the wearable protection device if the inflator device is decoupled or not properly coupled to said at least one inflatable member.
