The UE may receive, while operating in a power savings mode in which a cellular modem of the UE is disabled, inputs associated with an application of the UE. The UE may determine, based on the inputs, to activate the cellular modem to support the application of the UE. The inputs may include an indication of an application state or status, an indication of an application category, an indication of a state or status of an AI assistant of the UE, an indication of whether an application is a session application, an indication of network assertions, an indication of proximity information, an indication of a WiFi state or a WiFi status, and/or indications associated with one or more timers.

Methods and procedures for extended battery life

An electronic device detects a user input while in a lower energy consumption state. After a latency period, while in a higher energy consumption state, the electronic device delivers to an application a sequence of input events that represent the user input, including, in sequence: a first input event, a second input event and a third input event that represent the user input at first, second and third input times and is delivered at first, second and third delivery times. A time interval between the second input time and the second delivery time is smaller than a time interval between the first input time and the first delivery time, and a time interval between the third input time and the third delivery time is smaller than the time interval between the second input time and the second delivery time.

The present disclosure generally relates to managing user interface sharing. A computer system receives a representation of a first user interface template that specifies an arrangement of user interface elements. The computer system receiving a request to use the first user interface template for a respective computer system that includes a plurality of installed applications. The computer system initiates a process for creating a user interface for the respective computer system using the first user interface template. The process includes, in accordance with a determination that a first application is not available on the respective computer system, displaying an alert indicating that the first application needs to be installed on the respective computer system. The process includes, in accordance with a determination that the first application is available on the respective computer system, forgoing displaying the alert.

User interfaces for managing user interface sharing

One embodiment provides for an electronic device, comprising a non-transitory machine-readable medium to store instructions, one or more processors to execute the instructions, and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. A device implementing a system for displaying an image includes a processor configured to, generate, during a first power state of a device, a data structure specifying image frames and a respective display time for each of the image frames, and retrieve, during a second power state of the device and from the data structure, an image frame based on the respective display time for the image frame.
