A digital voucher system facilitates the convenient application of vouchers against products and services purchased from a merchant by a consumer. A voucher enabled device carried by the consumer stores digital vouchers in memory. The merchant queries and obtains applicable vouchers for the consumer from the voucher enabled device carried by the consumer, applies the vouchers to a transaction, and communicates the resulting transaction data back to the voucher enabled device.

Digital voucher processing system

An electronic certificate system facilitates the secure application of certificates against wireless data transfers with a distributer system by a device user. A certificate enabled device carried by the user stores electronic certificates in memory. When the distributer system detects a certificate enabled device within a proximity radio frequency field, the distributer system queries and obtains applicable certificates for the user from the certificate enabled device carried by the user, applies the certificates to a data transfer, and securely communicates the resulting data transfer metadata back to the certificate enabled device.

Wireless transfer protocol for electronic certificates

Methods and systems for collecting and validating data are provided. Data may be collected from users at a variety of locations with a mobile device. The mobile device may wirelessly transmit the collected data to a central location. The collected data may then be validated at the central location and any resulting error messages may be transmitted to the mobile device while the mobile device remains in close proximity to the user so that the data may be corrected.

A telecommunications architecture exposes telecommunications services to third parties through a secure access gateway. The third parties may be other telecommunications service providers who employ the services to support their own products and services. The access gateway provides a secure, standardized, and controlled access platform for the exposed services, and addresses the technical problems associated with such access. In addition to providing technical solutions for efficient and secure access to exposed services, the architecture also provides an additional revenue channel for existing telecommunication service providers.
