A method and device for longitudinally balancing an agricultural vehicle, in particular a tractor, whereby at least one sensor, for detecting at least one respective stress affecting a longitudinal attitude of the agricultural vehicle, controls an actuating device of a ballast to move the ballast longitudinally along the agricultural vehicle, which at least partly compensates for the stress.

A hybrid traction system for the traction of a vehicle comprises an internal combustion engine, at least a first electric machine and at least a second electric machine, first transmission means suitable for being connected mechanically to said internal combustion engine and to at least one of said electric machines, second transmission means suitable for being connected mechanically to at least one of said electric machines and to the wheels of the vehicle; the system comprises furthermore connecting or restraining means suitable for enabling mechanical power to be transmitted to the wheels of the vehicle only by the internal combustion engine through said first transmission means and said second transmission means. This allows to drive the vehicle using only the internal combustion engine.

Hybrid traction system

A vehicle, having a main body is equipped to be fitted mechanically with devices to form a wheeled vehicle, or with devices to form a crawler vehicle. The main body having of the vehicle houses the common components utilized in both configurations such as the engine and the gear box of the vehicle.

Vehicle body and assembly method

A steering system for a vehicle wherein the first and second axle shafts are driven by a power shaft powered by an engine. A differential gear is interposed between the power shaft and the first and second axle shafts. The steering system has a first hydraulic unit associated with the first axle shaft, a second hydraulic unit associated with the second axle shaft, a hydraulic circuit connecting an input of the first hydraulic unit to an output of the second hydraulic unit and an output of the first hydraulic unit to an input of said second hydraulic unit. A control unit is connected to the hydraulic circuit for varying a flow rate of hydraulic fluid in the first and second hydraulic units and an actuator associated with the control unit for controlling said control unit. The actuator is responsive to rotation of a steering wheel.

A metal track for crawler vehicles, the track having a metal chain hinged with substantially rectangular metal shoes, each of which has a work surface with arrow-shaped teeth defined by a front portion of one arrow-shaped tooth and a rear portion of another arrow-shaped tooth spaced apart on the work surface and complementary in shape; each portion of arrow-shaped tooth cooperating with a complementary portion on a respective adjacent shoe to define a complete arrow-shaped tooth.

Active axle suspension system

An agricultural tractor rear suspension system having a longitudinally extending suspension arm pivotally coupled to the tractor chassis at one end and to a planetary gearbox at the opposing end, a differential connected to the tractor chassis, and a driveshaft rotatably supported at one end by the planetary gearbox and supported at the other end by the differential housing wherein the driveshaft is configured to resist suspension arm flexure by communicating tensile and compressive forces from the suspension arm to the tractor chassis.

A steerable rear suspension for a tractor includes a chassis comprising a front end, a rear end, a left side and a right side; an engine mounted on the chassis; a pair of steerable front wheels coupled to the front end, left and right side of the chassis; a left rear suspension including a left rear suspension arm pivotally coupled to the chassis at a leading end of the suspension arm, and a first steerable planetary gear system mounted on a trailing end of the suspension arm; a right rear suspension including a right rear suspension arm pivotally coupled to the chassis at a leading end of the suspension arm, and a second steerable planetary gear system mounted on a trailing end at the right suspension arm; and left and right rear wheels driven by the first and second planetary gear systems.

Steerable rear tractor suspension

An agricultural tractor rear suspension has a suspension arm pivotally coupled to the chassis of the tractor at a forward pivot joint. A guide roller and interengaged guide track are coupled to and between the chassis and the arm to prevent the arm from flexing laterally outward away from the chassis and flexing laterally inward toward the chassis, thus reducing stress on the pivot joint.

C-beam suspension support

A rear tractor suspension for a tractor includes a suspension arm pivotally coupled to the chassis of the tractor, and a hydraulic cylinder coupled to the suspension arm to support it. The hydraulic cylinder conveys only longitudinal forces in a first mode of operation in which the suspension is not substantially loaded. When a substantial load is placed upon the suspension and the suspension arm begins to bend within normal operational and design limits, the hydraulic cylinder counteracts the load applied to the suspension, the torsional moment it produces, and the torsioning of the suspension arm by automatically applying a counteracting torsional moment to the suspension arm.

A tractor has sprung left and right rear suspensions, each suspension including a suspension arm pivotally coupled to the tractor chassis to pivot about a pivot point. A planetary gear system is fixed to the suspension arm having a sun gear driven by the engine and a planetary gear carrier that is coupled to and drives an axle supporting a rear wheel. The ring gear is fixed with respect to the suspension arm.

Tractor rear suspension

A front suspension for a tractor has an axle that is pivotally coupled to an axle carrier to pivot about a substantially longitudinal axis. The axle carrier, in turn, is pivotally coupled to the chassis of the vehicle to pivot about a generally vertical axis. The front end of the axle carrier is supported by a counter frame that prevents the axle carrier from twisting about a longitudinal axis. The counter frame is pivotally coupled to the chassis of the tractor to pivot about a generally lateral and horizontal axis. Both the axle carrier and the counter frame are constrained to pivot about the common horizontal and lateral axis with respect to the chassis of the tractor. Springs are coupled between the counter frame and the chassis of the tractor to control the pivoting of the counter frame with respect to the tractor and provide shock absorbing for the front suspension.

Tractor suspension system

A CVT transmission for agricultural tractors which envisages equipment for continuous variation of the motion by means of an epicyclic gear train. In the CVT transmission the input of the motion from an engine occurs in a direction substantially that is parallel to an axis of longitudinal symmetry of the tractor, whilst the axes of a shafts, respectively, between which there takes place variation of the transmission ratio, are transverse with respect to the axis of longitudinal symmetry of the tractor.

CVT transmission for motor vehicles, in particular for agricultural tractors

A hybrid power train for farm tractors, wherein the elements defining at least one of the electric machines are housed in a structural casing formed in one piece. The structural casing forms an integral part of the supporting structure of the tractor in the form of a half-shell open on one side, so as to permit assembly of an insulating element, a stator, and a shaft fitted with a respective rotor to form the electric machine part of the hybrid power train. The diesel engine of the agricultural tractor is mechanically connected to the Power take-off mechanism by routing the PTO shaft through a number of hollow shafts for transmitting power from the diesel engine to and from the two electric machines by means of a conventional epicyclic gear train.
