A sealing device for wheel hubs connected to constant-velocity joints including a first sealing assembly arranged between inner and outer rings of the wheel hub, and a second sealing assembly mounted on the inner ring and straddling the wheel hub and an outer ring of the constant-velocity joint. The first sealing assembly has a signal generating element having an annular insert mounted externally on a shield facing the constant-velocity joint and extending axially projecting above part of an annular step formed, on the same side as the constant-velocity joint, on a radially outer side surface of the inner ring, in a position immediately adjacent to the sleeve portion of the first shield. The second sealing assembly includes a tubular support keyed onto the inner ring by its first end on the outside edge folded in the manner of an L and shaped to engage inside the annular insert.

Low-friction sealing device for wheel hub assemblies connected to constant-velocity joints

Low-friction sealing assembly for a vehicle wheel-hub unit to be inserted in an annular space defined between a flanged rotating element and a stationary element, to protect at least one ring of rolling members arranged between the stationary element and the rotating element; the flanged rotating element being provided with a flange and a mounting seat delimited by a cylindrical bottom wall and by an axial shoulder arranged on the opposite side to the flange. Nominal dimensions of an internal diameter of a sleeve portion of an annular screen are substantially the same as nominal dimensions of an outer diameter of a cylindrical bottom wall of the mounting seat, and the axial shoulder has an entry edge with a substantially conical form for facilitating mounting of the annular screen on the rotating annular element.

Low-friction sealing assembly, system for engagement with a bearing ring, and wheel-hub unit equipped with such a sealing assembly

A rolling bearing providing an outer ring, an inner ring, and a plurality of rolling bodies disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring, and a sealing device held by the outer ring and consisting of a first and second annular shield and an elastomeric sealing element held by one of the shields. The second shield extends axially and radially to protrude on the outside of the outer ring and cooperates with a radially outer lateral surface of the outer ring, to delimit a radial annular gap therewith. An annular tooth is formed on the radially outer lateral surface of the outer ring in front of the radial gap to shield the radial gap in axial direction. An annular groove formed in a position immediately adjacent to the annular tooth and on the side opposite to the second shield.

Bearing rolling including a low friction sealing device, in particular for a hub bearing unit

A sealing assembly including at least one first annular shield having a sleeve portion integral in use with a rotating member and a flange portion, which radially and overhangingly extends from the sleeve portion. Preferably, a second annular shield is arranged in front of the first shield with the interposition of an annular seal; wherein the sleeve portion of the first shield is delimited by a conic-truncated lateral mounting surface having a tapering facing so as to have a greater diameter arranged on the side of the flange portion and intended to couple in use with a mounting seat of the rotating member formed by a shallow recess delimited by a conic-truncated bottom wall having the same tapering as the lateral mounting surface and by an axial shoulder which is arranged on the side opposite to the flange portion.
