In some implementations, a method includes generating and providing a representation of sleep stages that includes a sequence of elements indicating a progression of the sleep stages over time during a sleep session. In some implementations, a method includes generating and providing one or more scores based on analysis of the sleep session. In some implementations, a wearable body data recorder includes a plurality of sensors and is configured to measure and process sensor data obtained during a sleep session of a subject.

Visualizing, scoring, recording, and analyzing sleep data and hypnograms

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for determining sleep stages and sleep events using sensor data. In some implementations, sensor data is obtained over a time period while a person is sleeping. The time period is divided into a series of intervals. Heart rate and changes in the heart rate are analyzed over the intervals. Based on the analysis of the heart rate changes, sleep stage labels are assigned to different portions of the time period. An indication of the assigned sleep stage labels is provided.

Determining sleep stages and sleep events using sensor data

A system and method for locating, tracking, and/or monitoring the status of personnel and/or assets (collectively 'trackees'), both indoors and outdoors, is provided. Tracking data obtained from any number of sources utilizing any number of tracking methods (e.g., inertial navigation and signal-based methods) may be provided as input to a mapping application. The mapping application may generate position estimates for trackees using a suite of mapping tools to make corrections to the tracking data. The mapping application may further use information from building data, when available, to enhance position estimates. Indoor tracking methods including, for example, sensor fusion methods, map matching methods, and map building methods may be implemented to take tracking data from one or more trackees and compute a more accurate tracking estimate for each trackee. Outdoor tracking methods may be implemented to enhance outdoor tracking data by combining tracking estimates such as inertial tracks with magnetic and/or compass data if and when available, and with GPS, if and when available.

The present invention is directed to methods and systems for locating and monitoring the status of people and moveable assets, such as first responders, including firefighters and other public service personnel, and their equipment both indoors and out. The invention can provide for locating and monitoring the status of people and assets in environments where GPS systems do not operate, or where operation is impaired or otherwise limited. The system and method uses inertial navigation to determine the location, motion and orientation of the personnel or assets and communicates with an external monitoring station to receive requests for location, motion orientation and status information and to transmit the location, motion orientation and status information to the monitoring station. The system and method can include storing the location, motion and orientation data as well as status data, in the event that the communication system is unable to communicate with and transmit information to the monitoring station, the system will wait until communication is restored and transmit the status information to the monitoring station to update the location, motion orientation and status information for the person or asset.

Method and system for locating and monitoring first responders

The present invention pertains to a device for precision aim control of a gun barrel muzzle of a turreted gun system for improved projectile accuracy of fired projectiles. Improved projectile accuracy is defined as minimizing the distance between a projectile's point of impact and the point of aim thereof. The invention includes an actuator assembly mounted to a flexible gun barrel that act in combination with elevation and azimuth actuators located in the gun's turret. The device also includes a muzzle sensory feedback subsystem for continuous sensing of the gun muzzle's i) displacement, ii) azimuth and iii) elevation angles as the gun is fired. The barrel mounted actuator assembly along with the muzzle sensory feedback subsystem significantly improves the muzzle's aim performance. The invention comprises several components that include: i) one or more barrel mounted actuator assemblies that has one or more longitudinal mounted barrel actuator element(s) for applying bending torques to a gun barrel; ii) a muzzle sensory feedback subsystem for continuous measuring of linear and/or angular displacement of a gun muzzle; iii) a turret mounted actuator for providing torques and/or forces to aim the gun muzzle; iv) a turret mounted sensor system to measure the azimuth and elevation angles generated by the turret mounted actuator subsystem; and v) a feedback control system for processing commands from input and feedback signals from turret mounted sensors and muzzle sensors and producing output commands to the barrel actuator assembly and the gun turret aim actuators.
