A motorcompressor unit includes a first motor driving the rotation of a rotor and a compression stage including a bladed impeller mounted on a driven shaft, the rotation of which is driven by the rotor. Also, common casing is gastight with respect to fluid handled by the motorcompressor unit, where the compression stage and the first motor are mounted in the common casing. The compression stage also includes a regulating member that regulates the angle at which the fluid flows to or from the bladed impeller, and a second motor that controls the regulating member, the second motor being mounted in the common casing.

Motorcompressor unit with variable aerodynamic profile

A compressor unit is disclosed comprising at least a first motor driving in rotation at least one impeller of a compression stage, having at the outlet of the impeller a diffuser designed to centrifugally channel the gases coming from the impeller, and having a centripetal return channel downstream of the diffuser. The return channel includes at least one movable blade portion that, when moved, can vary a tangential component of the speed of the gases coming from the return channel.

A diaphragm for the compression stage of a compressor includes least one set of through passages extending between two mutually opposite faces of the diaphragm, so as to create a flow of gas between the opposite faces depending on a pressure difference prevailing on either side of the diaphragm.
