The invention is a method for determining indicators of pollution from overall mobility of a user, comprising detecting trips in soft modes of transport and trips in motorized vehicles by use of a smart phone; determining a real environmental footprint linked to pollution emissions for each trip in a motorized vehicle by use of a model which estimates pollution emissions by accounting for macroscopic characteristics of the vehicle and a real speed profile representing the style of driving of the user; determining a target environmental footprint from each of the motorized vehicle trips by accounting for a target speed profile representing an optimal style of driving in the model for estimating pollution emissions; and breaking down the environmental footprint for each of the motorized vehicle trips into a footprint linked to the vehicle, and to a style of driving to a type of route and; determining an overall environmental footprint for the mobility of the user by accounting for all trips in soft modes of transport and trips in motorized vehicles over a given time interval, and determining at least one of driving indicators and environmental impact indicators for the user's overall mobility.

The present invention is a system for dynamic determination of an environmental footprint linked to the overall mobility of a user, comprising means for measuring a trip made by the user using a smart phone application which detects modes of mobility and modes of mobility in a motorized vehicle and style of driving; means for calculating a pollution footprint of the user, accounting for the real usage and global and local pollutants emitted during a given time interval using a server or onboard electronics in a control unit or in a connected vehicle; and means for exploiting the pollution footprint, including a connected object informing one of the user and the administrative authorities of the pollution footprint.

The present invention is an on-board vehicle emissions measurement system. The system comprises at least one sensor (CAP) downstream from the aftertreatment system, and optionally a sensor plugged into the vehicle diagnostics port, and a computer (SIN) including models (MOD VEH, MOD MOD, MOD POT). According to the invention, emissions determination is based on the signal from sensor (CAP) and on models (MOD VEH, MOD MOT, MOD POT).

Transient-state control method for a hybrid drive system for vehicles

The invention is a method for real-time estimation of the instantaneous engine speed produced by each cylinder of an internal-combustion engine, from an instantaneous engine speed measurement at the end of the engine transmission system. A physical model, representing in real time the dynamics of the transmission system according to the crankshaft angle and to coefficients of a Fourier series decomposition of the instantaneous speed produced by each cylinder, is constructed. These coefficients are determined in real time from coupling between the model and an adaptive type non-linear estimator. The instantaneous speed produced by each cylinder is then deduced from these coefficients. The mean torque produced by each cylinder can also be deduced therefrom. An application is: engine controls.

The present invention relates to a method of estimating the fuel/air ratio in each cylinder of an injection internal-combustion engine comprising an exhaust circuit on which a detector measures the fuel/air ratio of the exhaust gas. An estimator based on a Kalman filter is coupled with a physical model representing the expulsion of the gases from the cylinders and their travel in the exhaust circuit to the detector. The method has application to engine controls.

The present invention relates to a method of estimating the fuel/air ratio in each cylinder of an injection internal-combustion engine comprising an exhaust circuit on which a detector measures the fuel/air ratio of the exhaust gas. An estimator based on an adaptive nonlinear filter is coupled with a physical model representing the expulsion of the gases from the cylinders and their travel in the exhaust circuit to the detector. The estimator is also coupled with an estimation of the fuel/air ratio measured from at least one variable of said model such as the total mass of exhaust gas and the mass of fresh air. The method has application to engine controls.

The present invention relates to a method of estimating the fuel/air ratio in each cylinder of a multicylinder internal-combustion engine comprising an exhaust circuit in which a single detector measures the fuel/air ratio of the exhaust gas. The estimator comprises a physical model (RTM) representing the expulsion of the gases from the cylinders and the travel thereof in the exhaust circuit to the detector, the model being coupled with a non-linear state observer of Extended Kalman Filter (KF) type.
