A hydraulic manifold pump comprising a housing in which is located a first hydraulic circuit and a second hydraulic circuit. A bidirectional motor connectable to the first hydraulic circuit and the second hydraulic circuit, the bidirectional motor being able to activate the first hydraulic circuit when operable in a first direction, and being able to activate the second hydraulic circuit when operable in a second direction. The hydraulic manifold pump further compromises a hydraulic actuator having two hydraulic chambers being connectable to the first hydraulic circuit and to the second hydraulic circuit, and both the first and second hydraulic circuits being connected to and able to vent into a fluid reservoir.

The invention relates to a device for control of the flow through a production tube placed in an oil well. The device comprising a portion of the production tube provided with through orifices and protection equipment for providing resistance to wear by erosion. The protection equipment comprises several add-on sectors assembled around the portion of the tube. Each add-on sector provided with an associated inner stiffener penetrating into the portion of the production tube through at least one through orifice. At least one of the add-on sectors provided with at least one opening extending through the sector and its associated inner stiffener.

Flow control device

The invention relates to apparatus for controlling the flow rate of a fluid in tubing (), said apparatus () comprising at least one hole () passing through the wall of said tubing and a moving shutterjacket () mounted to engage said hole. According to the invention, said apparatus further comprises deflector means () covering said jacket and said hole so that said deflector means directs the fluid through the wall of said tubing.

Method and apparatus for controlling downhole flow

In downhole apparatus for an oil well, components ( ) are installed in tubes ( ) received in a space defined between an outer case ( ) and an inner length of cylindrical production column ( ) that is eccentric relative to the case ( ). Each tube ( ) is fixed at one end to an interconnection box ( ) that is also received in said space, and that has electrical conductors passing therethrough. The tubes ( ) are fixed to the box ( ) by welding, and the ends of the tubes remote from the box are closed by plugs that are welded on.

Method of installing components in a downhole apparatus, and apparatus obtained thereby

An actuator ( ) designed to remain without maintenance down a well for a prolonged period comprises at least one sealing bellows ( ) and preferably a compensation bellows ( ) between the well fluid and an internal chamber ( ) that is full of hydraulic fluid. The bellows ( ) serve to make it possible either to omit dynamic elastomer gaskets altogether or at least to protect them from the well environment. The actuator ( ) e.g. of the electromechanical type, can serve in particular to control a valve ( ) having an opening of adjustable size. Both bellows ( ) are advantageously made of stainless steel. They can be mounted end-to-end or they can be quite separate.

Downhole actuator, and a flow rate adjuster device using such an actuator

In a hydrocarbon well, a speed measurement is performed at substantially the same level as a determination of the proportions of the phases of the fluid flowing along the well in at least one local region. To this end, local sensors are placed on the hinged arms of a centering device, and a speed-measuring spinner is placed between the arms.
