An electrical device for supplying electrical power to multiple power units includes a first module, including an electrical circuit breaker; a second, removable module, including a control circuit, programmed to trip the circuit breaker depending on values of the electric current that is flowing through power lines; a connection interface provided with output connectors that are connected to the power lines; removable elements, each containing an item of electrical equipment that is intended to be connected to an electrical power unit and to one of the power lines by the output connectors, the control circuit being connected to an interface for controlling each removable element via a data link by virtue of the connection interface.

Electrical device for supplying electrical power to electrical power units

A module for the interconnection between an electrical circuit breaker and an electrical contactor includes a housing and multiple high-power electrical conductors that are housed inside the housing, each of the high-power electrical conductors being suitable for electrically connecting an electrical output of a circuit breaker to an electrical input of a contactor, in order to allow a supply electric current to flow from the circuit breaker to the contactor. The interconnection module additionally includes a device for measuring the current, which device is suitable for measuring the values of the current that flows through the high-power electrical conductors, and an electronic processing unit, which unit is equipped with an interface for connection to a data bus and which unit is programmed to transmit the values measured by the measurement device to the data bus.

Module for the interconnection of a circuit breaker and a contactor for an electrical assembly

Contactor-circuit breaker comprising a control electromagnet and a protection device both capable of acting on mobile contacts in response respectively to a deliberate control and to a detected electrical fault, through a multi-pole device. An electromagnetic tripping device () is added onto a contact control mechanism (). The protection device (), preferably interchangeable, is connected to the electromagnet () through a control line (B) and to the control mechanism () through a trip line (A) so that it outputs an electrical power supply to the electromagnet on the control line, and in the case of a fault, a trip signal on the trip line. The electromagnet () is of the DC type, and the protection device () adapts its power supply voltage.

Reverse current relay

In a switching device, a method and device for determining the wear of the pole contacts (C, C, C) actuated by an electromagnet () whose movement is controlled by an excitation coil () by the variation of a contact wear distance travel time (Tu) generated during an electromagnet closing movement, by measuring at least one electrical signal (Ip) representing the conducting state of at least one power pole, by measuring an excitation current (Is) passing through the coil () of the electromagnet and by comparing the electrical signal (Ip) and the excitation current (Is) as a function of time. The measured wear distance travel time (Tu) can then be compared with an initial travel time (Ti) stored in the switching device.

Method for determining wear of a switchgear contacts

The invention concerns a control and protection module () for a low voltage multipolar switch device that is comprised of a connector base (), a control electromagnet () and a trip mechanism () capable of acting upon the moving contacts () in order to open and break the power poles. Control and protection module of a switch device

A contact pole interrupting device in an electrical switching apparatus composed of a moving contact holder including a cylindrical contact pressure spring, a slide that moves along a longitudinal axis, and a mobile bridge supporting two mobile contacts. The mobile bridge has a central opening in which are inserted two protuberances belonging to the slide and equipped with an outer pin enabling the slide to be clamp-mounted on the mobile bridge. An end of the spring, which rests on the mobile bridge, is kept in a place by a flange on side ends of the slide and is centered by the protuberances of the slide.

Interrupting device for switching apparatus

A current sensor for an electrical device including a primary circuit in which a primary current flows. A magnetic circuit includes two identical U-shaped elements between which two studs for air gaps are located. A secondary circuit includes two similar coils of a cylindrical shape, mounted in series and encircling the air gaps, wherein these two coils are made in a continuous way with only one winding operation without any electrical connection between both coils. The winding of the primary circuit encircles one of the two coils. The sensor is designed so that it may be adapted to several nominal ranges of primary current by varying the number of passages of the primary circuit between coils, the number of windings of the secondary circuit, and the thickness of the air gaps.

Current sensor for an electrical device

A switching apparatus including an electromagnetic command device fitted with a magnetic circuit made up of a main circuit polarized by a permanent magnet and linked to a depolarizing coil and through a movable circuit integral with a movable support subject to a return spring and acting directly or indirectly on at least one disconnecting pole. The main magnetic circuit has at least two air gaps in series on the path of the magnetic flux generated by the permanent magnet and the movable magnetic circuit includes at least two parts capable of closing the air gaps when the main magnetic circuit and the movable magnetic circuit are joined together and are crossed by the magnetic flux created by the permanent magnetic, thereby carrying out a locking function and creating a multiplication of the locking forces, with an unlocking function being provided by the depolarization coil the counter-flux from which crosses the magnetic circuit and air gaps.

Switch with electromagnetic command

A control device for an electromechanical circuit breaker device. The device includes a bistable type electromagnet to deliberately control power contacts and a monostable trip electromagnet to open the contacts in case of a fault. The bistable electromagnetic coil and the trip electromagnetic coil are placed in parallel with a capacitance. The control device includes a maintained control switch and an H bridge of two-way switches associated with the bistable coil. The control device acts on the bridge of switches and a trip switch opens the contacts depending on the current in the coils measured by sensors.

Control device for an electromechanical contactor-circuit breaker type

The present invention concerns an interface module between a field bus and electrical equipment controlling and protecting an electric motor. The interface module includes an integrated circuit having data pins connected via input/output circuits to contacts or binary sensors or to coils or actuators of the electrical equipment. The data pins of the integrated circuit are connected via logic circuits to inputs or outputs which are greater in number than the data pins. The inputs/outputs are connected to coils or actuators and to auxiliary contacts or binary sensors of the electrical equipment.

Interface module between a field bus and electrical equipment

Contactor-circuit breaker housing firstly power poles and an electromagnet serving to activate the moving contacts in contactor mode and including a fixed magnetic circuit, a moving magnetic circuit and a coil whose electric supply is controlled by a switch, and secondly at least one current sensor serving to control a releasing electromagnet. The activating electromagnet and the releasing electromagnet are constituted by a single electromagnet whose moving magnetic circuit is a pivoting pallet linked mechanically to the contact-holders of the poles and having a weak moment of inertia. An electric unit is provided for the rapid reduction of the magnetic flux, triggered by an electronic control device associated with the current sensor.

Electronic thermal protection device

This invention concerns an electronic thermal protection device adapted to interrupt the power supply on a multiphase line comprising a temperature detector including a resistive element thermally coupled to a temperature sensor that is connected to a digital processing circuit adapted to outputt a control order as a function of the overload detected by the temperature sensor. The temperature detector resistive element is connected to various rectifiers, each powered by a current transformer installed on one line wire such that the sum of the currents delivered by the rectifiers flows in the resistive element.

An electronic protection device for providing thermal protection of a load by cutting off the multiphase supply of power to the load includes a thermal sensor having at least one resistive element thermally coupled to a temperature sensor connected to an electronic processor circuit. This circuit generates a command instruction in response to any overload detected by the temperature sensor. Each resistive element of the thermal sensor is fed with current by a current sensor on a phase wire supplying power to the load.
