An embodiment includes defining a private software catalog in a private cloud where the private software catalog includes a first set of software. The embodiment also includes associating the private software catalog with a target system. The embodiment also includes transferring the first set of software in the private software catalog to a target catalog corresponding to a target system. The embodiment also includes removing a second set of software from the target system where the second set of software is not defined in the private software catalog for the target catalog corresponding to the target system. Other embodiments of this aspect include corresponding computer systems, apparatus, and computer programs recorded on one or more computer storage devices, each configured to perform the actions of the embodiment.

Managing software catalogs in hybrid and multi-cloud environments

Managing microservice function requests is provided. A request originating from a browser of the computer to execute a function corresponding to a microservice locally deployed on the computer is received using a software development kit operating in the computer. The request to execute the function is routed to the microservice using a local reverse proxy running in the software development kit. Other requests originating from the browser of the computer to execute one or more other functions corresponding to one or more microservices in a remotely deployed microservice architecture that interact with the function corresponding to the microservice are received using the software development kit. The other requests to execute the one or more other functions corresponding to the one or more microservices in the remotely deployed microservice architecture are routed, via a single uniform resource locator corresponding to a remote reverse proxy, using the local reverse proxy.

Local microservice development for remote deployment

During development of an application, an association between a view of the application and a data service, and rules applicable to the view, can be received. The rules can include an indication of a security role assigned to users who are allowed to access the view and an indication of whether the view is allowed to access the data service based on the security role assigned to the user. Based on the rules applicable to the view, permissions for accessing the data service by the view can be automatically extrapolated. Based on the permissions extrapolated for accessing the data service by the view, a binding credential, configured to be processed to determine whether the view of the application is granted access to data provided by the data service at runtime, can be automatically created. The at least one binding credential can be assigned to the view of the application.

Dynamic permission roles for cloud based applications

A present invention embodiment includes a system with at least one processor for accessing data. The system creates a rule including one or more conditional expressions to link a first data object of a first data source to a second data object of a second data source. Data of the first data object is retrieved from the first data source in accordance with a request for the first data object. The system processes the rule to retrieve data of the second data object from the second data source that satisfies the one or more conditional expressions of the rule. Results for the request are produced by merging the data retrieved from the first and second data objects. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for accessing data in substantially the same manner described above.

Access operation with dynamic linking and access of data within plural data sources

Users on a client system access files served by a web application through the Network File System (NFS) protocol using common web authentication mechanisms while still honoring constraints imposed by the application's authorization rules. To this end, the client system is modified to include an NFS server. Following authentication of the NFS server with the web application, NFS-based requests (from a local NFS client) directed to the application are received at the NFS server instead of being sent to the application directly. The NFS server, in turn, maps those requests to the web application preferably using standard HTTP. Because the web application's normal security model is enforced as intended at the web application, the approach enables individual users of the client system to operate under different visibility constraints dictated by the web application. Thus, fine-grained permissions may be enforced at the web application for different users.

Mapping the network file system (NFS) protocol to secure web-based applications

Arrangements described herein relate to determining a quality of a software package. Via linked data, the software package can be linked to at least one test plan and a requirement collection. The software package can be executed in accordance with the test plan using at least one test case. At least one test result of the execution of the software package can be generated. A score can be assigned to the test result and a score can be assigned to the test based at least on the test result. Based at least the scores on assigned to the test result and the test case, a package quality score can be assigned to the software package.

Using linked data to determine package quality

Aspects retrieve, organize and display different classifications of sets of search results in different, respective tabbed sheets that are nested on top of one another in a web-based interface dashboard. A text string search query is classified into constituent primary search terms that are likely to return satisfactory search results as indicated by retrieved search history data as a function of search resources and language classification rules associated with the user identity indicia. Secondary search terms related to the primary search terms and including synonyms and antonyms are determined as substitutes for the primary search terms in response to search history indicating follow-up searches immediately subsequent to searches of the primary search terms at less than a specified threshold of frequency. The set of peripheral knowledge article results is generated by searching knowledge article resources for background information on the primary search terms or the secondary search terms.

Arrangements described herein relate to determining a quality of a software package. Via linked data, the software package can be linked to at least one test plan and a requirement collection. The software package can be executed in accordance with the test plan using at least one test case. At least one test result of the execution of the software package can be generated. A score can be assigned to the test result and a score can be assigned to the test based at least on the test result. Based at least on the scores assigned to the test result and the test case, a package quality score can be assigned to the software package.

Described is a system, whereby a creator of an asset at an asset management system selects an identifier corresponding to information related to the asset. The information is stored at a target repository. The asset creator is authenticated with the target repository. An authorization token is output to the asset management system for authorizing one or more users to access the information related to the asset.
