A drilling apparatus and a method for releasing rods stuck in surrounding ground use a torsional device for releasing the drilling assembly and induce centrifugal forced vibrations and bending vibrations in the drilling rods, facilitating the release from positions stuck inside the drilled hole. The apparatus allows the available power of the motor drilling device to be fully applied for generating periodic forced vibrations useful for detaching the drilling rods stuck in the surrounding ground.

A telemetry system for bi-directional communication of data between a well point and a terminal unit situated on a surface, which can be used inside drilling or production strings. The system includes data transmission and optional reception devices. An active vehicle, which can be equipped with plural automation levels, ranging from purely tele-operated to completely autonomous, is provided for unwinding and pulling a connection line, capable of moving inside a drilling or production string, or a passive vehicle, moved by a deploying cable and a suitable winding/unwinding device, in particular a winch. The present invention deals with a method which allows to determine the wall friction profile along pipes transporting liquids, particularly petroleum industry liquids, by measuring the pressure transients induced by fast changes in the flow rate. This method is applicable to pipes in which the discharge pressure is greater then the bubble point of the transported liquid and, in any case, when free gas is absent in the pipe.
