A method for ordering a corrective clip having corrective lenses. The clip corrects a wearer's view of a head mounted video display. When customers purchase an HMD, they are provided with clip ordering information. This includes information allowing the users to determine if a clip is required for their personal use. By providing at least SV and PD data customers can place their own orders which are transmitted to the lab. The completed corrective clip is delivered directly to the customer. Since the clip mounts on the viewer, a fitting session is not required. In use, the corrective clip reside between the user's eyes and an HMD display, without contacting the user.

Lens ordering and delivery system for head mounted display

A lens holding frame for holding lenses, both in front of the projection optics of an HMD device and in front of the eye portion of a wearer of the HMD device, the lens holding frame including a nose bridge, the HMD device including a nose pad arranged to support the nose bridge, and at least one correction lens. The lens holding frame is arranged to be stretched out of its original shape under a manual pressure to at least one transitional shape, and includes connecting elements arranged to connect in a reversible manner the HMD device to the lens holding frame being in a transitional shape and having its nose bridge supported by the nose pad of the HMD device.

Composite ophthalmic lens and method for obtaining same

The invention concerns novel polymerisable compositions and optical lenses with high refractive index obtained from said compositions, characterized in that they comprise as constituents base copolymerisable monomers at least 85 wt. % of the total weight of copolymerisable monomers present in the composition: of a mixture M, for 100 parts by weight of the mixture; of (A) 20 to 80 parts of one or several, preferably only one, non-aromatic compounds (I) comprising two thio(meth)acrylate functions, and (B) 80 to 20 parts of a compound of formula (I) in which R and R represent, independently of each other, H or CH and m&plus;n has a mean value from 0 to 20 inclusively; and 3 to 30% by weight relative to the weight of mixture M of a polythiol; the composition containing less than 5 wt. % of other aromatic thio(meth)acrylate copolymerisable, cyclanic or vinyl aromatic mono(meth)acrylate monomers. The invention is applicable to the manufacture of spectacle lenses.
