A valve includes a flap, a tubular valve body defining a passageway, and a guiding device to guide the flap relative to the valve body for pivoting the flap relative to the valve body about a pivot axis between a closed position and an open position of the passageway. The guiding device comprises a pin traversed by the pivot axis and comprising a body with a base and, opposite the base, a free end resting against the valve body. The pin also comprises two lugs each protruding from the base in a direction opposite to the free end, the two lugs defining between them a slot, wherein an edge of the flap is received. The valve further comprises at least one member, connected to the flap, and which presses one of the lugs of the pin against the flap.

A valve comprises a kinematic chain having a rotary driving member, a rotary driven member, and an intermediate member. The driving member has a driving contact element in flat or linear abutment on a complementary driving contact element of the intermediate member. The driven member has a driven contact element in flat or linear abutment on a complementary driven contact element of the intermediate member. The complementary driving contact element and the complementary driven contact element () together form an angle between 45&#xb0; and 135&#xb0;. A valve comprises a flap, a tubular valve body defining an exhaust gas flow passage, and a device to guide the flap relative to the valve body to allow the flap to pivot relative to the valve body around a pivot axis between a closing position and a freed position of the exhaust gas flow passage. The flap has two large faces substantially parallel to one another and connected to one another by an edge of the flap. The guide device comprises a pin, a distal, end and a base. The valve also comprises a stabilizing member secured to the flap.

An exhaust valve includes a body defining a passage and a flap that pivots about an axis relative to the body to selectively close/open the passage. An actuator moves the flap and a device couples the flap to the actuator. This coupling device comprises: a compression spring having a proximal end that rotates about the axis with a first element between the flap and an actuator output shaft and a distal end; a seat engaged with the distal end, while the seat is fixed in rotation about the axis with the first element, and a torsionally-rigid transmission member fixed in rotation about the axis with the first element and that immobilizes the distal end relative to the proximal end in a plane that is orthogonal to the axis. The transmission member has a slot that is elongated parallel to the axis and is traversed by the distal end.

A valve comprises a body having a gas inlet and outlet, a flap in the body,&#x2014;a drive shaft which is rigidly connected to the flap, an actuator having a motor shaft, and a coupling of the motor shaft and the drive shaft. A mounting for the actuator on the body comprises a side wall defining a cavity and closed in part at angular sectors facing towards the inlet and towards the outlet. The wall has openings for circulating air between the inside and the outside of the cavity. A thermally insulating partition is between the body and the actuator and has a surface area which is greater than 50% of a cross section of the wall taken in a plane which is perpendicular to the axis of the shaft, and has an opening for receiving the shaft with a gap. A plate is connected to the shaft, which is axially interposed between the partition and the actuator, and covers the gap.

The first end of the shaft includes an inner housing emerging axially. An exhaust line element comprises a valve body, a shutter, a pivot link connecting the shutter to the valve body, an upstream tube, and a downstream tube. A valve comprises a coupling device having a driven member bound to the drive shaft of a flap, a driving member bound to an output shaft of an actuator, and an elastic member. The driving member comprises attachments that hooks up the elastic member to the driving member in a temporary position in which the elastic member is elastically loaded. The driven member comprises at least one release member that at least partly releases the elastic member of the attachments when the coupling device is brought to an intermediate state or the elastic member, when the coupling device is in the intermediate state, may be at least partly released from the attachments. The elastic member once released, adopts a definitive use position under the effect of relaxation of the elastic load, the coupling device then adopting the operational state.
