Systems and methods for financial data analysis are provided. A system is provided wherein financial data associated with stocks and stock options is collected from multiple sources and calculations performed thereon to derive values for a set of searchable screening parameters related to searching stock option spreads. Users may access the system and provide values and ranges of values for searching the set of searchable screening parameters. In response, users are presented with the set of option spreads, in sorted order, that satisfy the user-supplied search values. Users may select to execute an option spread in which case the system automatically executes the plurality of option trades that underly the spread.

Potential returns from different investment strategies can be viewed together so that the returns and risks can be compared and contrasted. The effect on various option strategies of a change in the price of the underlying stock can be analyzed. Potential investment opportunities relating to an existing investment position can be identified. Stock repair opportunities relating to a selected stock investment can be identified and implemented.

A client establishes and/or modifies an interactive account on a server via proprietary sorting and filtering and reporting criteria as a means for timely processing of online financial data and/or other business information to retrieve valuations, sorted lists, etc. The method involves establishing a link with a server preset and programmable with client criteria for investment or decision making, acquiring data, sorting, filtering, etc.
