Methods and apparatus for automating the fiber laying process during the repair of composite structures made of fiber-reinforced plastic material based on the three-dimensional printing technique. Continuous fiber rovings (e.g., carbon fibers) impregnated with liquid epoxy can be directly printed onto the damaged surface of the composite structure (e.g., an aircraft component made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic) without human manipulation in an autonomous manner.

Disclosed herein are apparatus and method for transferring, focusing and purging powder for direct printing at low temperature. A filter is provided between an operation chamber housing in which a work target is disposed and a reservoir tank which contains powder to adjust the amount of particles transferred from the reservoir tank into the operation chamber housing. A pressure unit connected to the reservoir tank generates air pressure for applying powder to the work target. A purging unit connected to the reservoir tank generates pressure for returning powder that has remained in the operation chamber housing, the filter, etc. to the reservoir tank after work has been completed. The apparatus is configured such that a series of process of transferring powder to be applied to the surface of the work target and returning remnant powder to the reservoir tank can be rapidly and smoothly conducted.

In a control panel assembly comprising a control panel having button holes to mount a plurality of buttons and a display window, at least one of the buttons comprises a pressing portion having an optical diffusion portion for diffusing light occurring from a light source disposed at a back of the buttons; a mounting portion for fixing the buttons to a back of the control panel; and a supporting portion for connecting the pressing portion and the mounting portion to each other, and providing an elastic force to the pressing portion. According to this configuration, a larger amount of light occurring from the light source is emitted to a front of the buttons, and a user's convenience is enhanced.
