The spraying unit comprises a sea water entry (), an ambient-temperature dry air entry (), and a device for generating acoustic waves at a frequency greater than 1 MHz focused by means of nozzles () receiving the sea water coming from the sea water entry so as to obtain microdroplets having a diameter comprised between about 2.5 microns and about 5 microns.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to substrate processing apparatuses and methods for processing substrates.
