A module () for a conveyor mat, comprising a body part () which is provided, on front and rear sides () operatively extending transversely to the conveying direction (p), with hinge loops (A,B) mutually spaced apart at mutual intermediate distances (A,B), and an underside () operatively cooperating with a guideway. The underside () is provided with a downwardly extending mounting frame () for receiving a guide element. The module () may be included in a modular conveyor mat, comprising a number of modules being consecutive in conveying direction, each provided with a body part extending transversely to a conveying direction, having hinge loops reaching forwards and rearwards in the conveying direction, while the hinge loops of consecutive modules cooperate and are coupled by means of hinge pins, and at least one of the modules is designed with a mounting frame.

A conveyor, comprising a modular conveyor mat () driven by sprocket wheels (), wherein the conveyor mat is driven by the sprocket wheel on the hinge pins (). The modular conveyor mat comprises a number of modules () successive in conveying direction, which are each provided with a body part extending transversely to the conveying direction and having rows of hinge loops () reaching forward and rearward in the conveying direction, wherein the hinge loops of successive modules cooperate and are coupled using hinge pins.

A conveyor for conveying products along a conveying track with varying temperature, comprising a first axle provided with first divert wheels and a second axle provided with second divert wheels and a plurality of modular, endless conveyor mats built up from plastic modules, travelling in side-by-side parallel relation in a conveying direction around the first and second divert wheels.

Conveyor

A conveyor module includes a plurality of first projections extending in a first direction. Each of the first projections include a hinge hole for receiving a first hinge pin. A plurality of second projections extends in a second direction substantially opposed to the first direction. Each of the second projections include a hinge hole for receiving a second hinge pin. A reinforcement bracket nests with at least a portion of one of the second projections. The reinforcement bracket includes a first hinge hole aligned with the hinge holes in each of the first projections for receiving the first hinge pin. The reinforcement bracket further includes a second hinge hole aligned with the hinge holes in the one of second projections for receiving the second hinge pin.

Modular conveyor mat

A conveying system comprising an endless first conveyor belt circulating between at least first and second divert elements, a top run of the first conveyor belt forming a first conveying surface movable between the divert elements in a first conveying direction, and an endless second conveyor belt circulating between at least third and fourth divert elements, the top run of the second conveyor belt forming a movable second conveying surface movable between the divert elements in a second conveying direction, the second conveyor belt extending at least partly above and along the second divert element, so that the first and second conveyor belts, while including a gap-shaped interspace, are in mutually transverse alignment. In the interspace, intermediate elements, in particular fingers, are arranged that bridge the gap between the first and the second conveying surface.

A guide bend segment () for a modular conveyor chain, comprising a profile from plastic material with a substantially flat upper side () extending along an axis proceeding in a curved manner with a guide face in which at least one guide is formed for guiding the modules of a modular conveyor chain, in which profile, adjacent the guide, magnets (A,B) are included for pulling body parts of successive modules () of the chain to be guided against the upper side through cooperation with hinge pins () of the modular conveyor chain, wherein the at least one guide comprises two grooves (A,B) proceeding in the longitudinal direction of the profile, so that the profile, adjacent the guide plane at the location of the guide has a substantially E-shaped cross section with a central projection () located between the grooves and legs located outside the grooves, on an inside bend side and an outside bend side of the projection, respectively, and that in the legs (A,B), magnets are included.

A conveyor belt (), comprising a number of plastic modules () successive in conveying direction () which are each provided at a front and rear side () with a row of projections () extending transversely to the conveying direction (), provided with hinge holes with recesses () located therebetween, the projections () cooperating with recesses () of adjoining modules, while hinge loops of successive modules () are coupled with the aid of hinge pins, extending through the hinge holes, transversely to the transport direction (), the hinge pins being included with clearance in oversize hinge holes of projections () at the front and/or the rear side (). At least two successive modules () are interconnected via an intermediate element () borne on a hinge pin (A) and bearing mounted so as to be pivotal relative to a pivot (A) substantially transverse to the hinge pin (A) in a bearing opening formed in one of the modules ().

A chain module () for a modular chain conveyor comprising a substantially sheet-shaped body part (), provided with a conveying surface () located at an upper side of the body part (), with hinge holes (AAB) included in the body part () and with two projections (A,B) provided at the underside () of the body part (), wherein sliding faces (A,B) located at the sides (A,B) facing each other of the projections (A,B), together with a sliding face () located between the projections (A,B) at the underside () of the body part (), form a guide with substantially U-shaped cross section. The projections (A,B) have been provided at a distance from sides () of the body part () and adjacent the projections (A,B) at the underside () of the body part (), sliding faces (A,B) are located, each forming, with sliding faces (A,B) located at sides (A,B) facing away from each other of the projections (A,B), a longitudinal guide with substantially L-shaped cross section.

Chain modular and modular chain conveyor

A conveying system (), comprising an endless first conveyor belt () circulating between at least first and second (B) divert elements, a top run (A) of the first conveyor belt () forming a first conveying surface () movable between the divert elements in a first conveying direction (P), and an endless second conveyor belt () circulating between at least third and fourth divert elements, the top run (A) of the second conveyor belt () forming a movable second conveying surface () movable between the divert elements in a second conveying direction (P), the second conveyor belt () extending at least partly above and along the second divert element (B), so that the first () and second () conveyor belts, while including a gap-shaped interspace (), are in mutually transverse alignment. In the interspace (), intermediate elements (T), in particular fingers, are arranged that bridge the gap between the first () and the second () conveying surface.

A method of assembling a hinge conveyor chain includes providing adjacent conveyor links formed from a ferritic-pearlitic stainless steel, wherein the adjacent links have interdigitating link ends with openings for receiving a pin, and inserting a pin having a radially outwardly facing surface formed from a steel alloy with more than 0.6 wt. % of carbon and more than 12 wt. % of Cr through the openings of the interdigitating link ends to pivotally link the adjacent links.

Chain pin for hinge conveyor chains

A chain module according to the invention comprises at least one link from ferritic-pearlitic stainless steel and at least one chain pin, which chain pin comprises an outwardly facing surface formed from a steel alloy which is substantially non-seizing to the ferritic-pearlitic stainless steel of said link. Preferably, the chain pin comprises a steel alloy with more than 0.6 wt. % of carbon and more than 12 wt. % of chromium.
