Methods and systems can identify and request video data and information associated with an event. An event location and time associated with the event can be determined. The event can comprise damage to property or injury to a person. A geographic range of interest associated with the event location and a time duration of interest associated with the event time can be determined. One or more users who are determined to have been at or near the event location at the event time can be automatically identified. A request for at least one of information or video data from the geographic range and time duration of interest can be transmitted to the one or more identified users.

An example system includes a sensor system and a computer system. The sensor system includes one or quantum sensors, and is configured to generate first sensor data representing one or more molecular properties of a first object at a first time. A system and method for transforming physical currency in the form of banknotes into digital currency is disclosed. The system includes a device that can scan and destroy banknotes, and send information about the destroyed banknotes to a digital currency minting system so that a corresponding value of digital currency can be created on a corresponding digital currency network. The device includes at least two optical devices, where one of the optical devices is displaced from a shredding assembly at a particular distance to ensure that a confirmation of destruction image including a serial number on the banknote can be captured at approximately the same time that a sufficient amount of the banknote has been shredded to render the banknote invalid for use as currency.

A phone case includes a cold wallet that holds various cryptocurrencies. A method provides for operation of a smartphone placed in the phone case to interact with the cold wallet. The cold wallet can be incorporated into a system that includes secure storage, a battery, and communications hardware. The system has robust security features, including features that require surface to surface proximity. For example, the system may use wireless charging, which only operates with a limited range. The phone case can use the wireless charging system to send and receive authentication signals from the smartphone. Based on the authentication signals the phone case can power up and connect the secure storage to the rest of the system, thereby only providing secured access to the keys in the cold wallet. After use, the system disconnects the secure storage and the powers down to cold wallet, protecting the private keys.

A micropattern detection-based method and system of performing an authentication of video of a person in order to authorize access to a secured resource is provided. The user provides image data in which they present a secondary computing device with a specially fabricated screen cover. The screen cover includes a plurality of micro-holes that collectively provide a unique micropattern. When the user adjusts a display setting, the micropattern, previously cloaked, becomes apparent as an arrangement of pinpoints of light. The system and method are configured to evaluate the image data to determine whether the micropattern is present. If a micropattern is present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person. In some cases, the system can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services for which they are authorized.

Vendors that provide services for one entity of an organization may be unknown to another entity within the same organization. The systems and techniques provided herein facilitate sharing of this information of the vendor across various entities in the organization.

Implementations ingest records across multiple accounts hosted by different service providers and augment the records with metadata. For example, ingesting can include processing the records to identify transactions in the records and to discover additional aspects of the transactions. In some implementations, metadata can be used to augment the identified transactions in the records, where metadata can include a category, a digital receipt, a user tag such as a geotag, and other suitable metadata. The ingesting and augmenting the records can populate a coordination data structure with identified transactions and their associated data elements. These identified transactions can then be queried and a result set of transactions that span the different user accounts can be returned. In some implementations, the transactions can be queried using the augmented metadata, or other suitable pieces of information for the transactions.

Embodiments are described herein for systems and methods for continuously monitoring an electronic device to determine if tampering is possibly occurring with respect to the electronic device. For example, in certain embodiments, a hardware monitoring device may be configured to be communicatively coupled to the electronic device, and to transmit a command signal indicative of a network connectivity alarm to the electronic device in response to detecting that the hardware monitoring device has lost connection with a communication network.
