An improved system for moving the spools and tubes on the trays of automatic spoolers, where the spooling units composing the machine are at their outlet connected to a discharge circuit fitted with a switch capable of routing the trays on a return path, or switching them to a 'stand-by' circulation on the circuit.

A dishwasher with a wash tub (4) with a removable rack (3) under which there is inserted a rotor (8) which is designed to be fed through a connection duct with rotating hydraulic joint extending upward from the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the rack (3) has several crosspieces (18), at least one of which has an angular, downward bend at the center (19), axially aligned with the rotor (8) and adjacent to it when the rack is in place in the tub (4) to limit the upward movement of the rotor (8).

In a reversible motor pumping system of a dishwasher, the reversible electrical motor has a drag shaft on which are mounted the impellers of a circulation pump and a discharge pump. The discharge pump is provided in a hydraulic discharge circuit so as to force fluid from the dishwasher after having washed the objects in the dishwasher. The discharge pump includes a lateral wall defining a chamber of a substantially circular section in which the impeller of the discharge pump is housed. An aspiration inlet is open to the chamber and communicates with the interior of the dishwasher while a delivery outlet is open to the chamber at a location spaced from the aspiration inlet such that a portion of the lateral wall defining the chamber extends between the aspiration inlet and the discharge outlet. This portion of the lateral wall constitutes a tooth of the discharge pump having a reduced inner diameter. At least one air intake is open to the chamber at the tooth of the discharge pump. Thus, the reduced pressure at the tooth of the discharge pump inhibits water being forced through the discharge circuit from flowing back through the air intake and into the bottom of the dishwasher. Therefore, problems which would otherwise occur in such a case are alleviated.

Dishwasher with reversible motor pumping system

A dishwasher with a wash tub (3) connected on the bottom to a collection well (4) into which extends the outlet duct (8) of a discharge pump (6) fitted with a nonreturn valve (11) accessible from the inside of the wash tub. The valve consists of a box-like housing (12) made in one piece with the outlet duct (8) which, in turn, is made in one piece with the well (4). The valve (11) has a flat flexible-membrane plug (18) with a tail (19) hooked to a peg (21) made in one piece with the box-like body (12). A protrusion (22) of the cover (13) for the box-like body (12) is in contact with the peg (21) to block the membrane (18) in position.

Dishwasher with discharge pump and nonreturn valve

A dishwashing machine has a single motor pump unit, including a circulating centrifugal pump and a peripheral outflow drain pump mounted on a common shaft of a reversible drive motor to alternately deliver a washing fluid to and drain fluid from the dishwashing machine. The two pumps are connected by openings in their respective pump chambers communicating with an annular chamber between the two pumps. The annular chamber has a vent fluidly connecting the chamber with a washing water circuit of the dishwashing machine. Preferably the annular chamber has an impeller therein mounted on the drive shaft of the motor, forming a further centrifugal pump with the annular chamber.

Dishwashing machine with a single-motor pump unit

A dishwashing machine includes a recirculating pump having a casing, an inlet communicating with a sump of a washing tub, an outlet communicating with a spray arm located above the sump, and an impeller rotatable within the casing in a recirculating direction during a washing phase of operation of the machine and rotatable in a direction opposite to the recirculating direction during a drain phase of operation of the machine. A recirculating filter is positioned between the spray arm and the sump. To ensure that all water collected in the sump adjacent the inlet of the recirculating pump is discharged during the drain phase of operation of the machine, a conduit has a first end connected to the interior of the casing of the recirculating pump and a second end positioned adjacent the recirculating filter. A passage through the conduit has a cross section that is calibrated to achieve, upon the impeller of the recirculating pump rotating in the opposite direction thereof, discharge of water collected in the sump adjacent the inlet of the recirculating pump as a water jet from the second end of the passage. Such water jet passes through and cleans the recirculating filter and is directed toward the intake of a drain pump of the machine.
