An industrial vehicle includes an operator compartment, a steering control device mounted for access from a first selectable operator position located outside of the operator compartment, and a steering column supporting the steering control device. The steering control device configured to rotate about the steering column and provide steering control from the operator compartment in a second selectable operator position opposite the first selectable operator position.

Multiple-position steering control device

A steering system includes a steered tire and a steering control device that controls the steered tire from a first operating position. Further including a steering control mount that supports the steering control device and is configured to allow the steering control device to rotate to a second operating position opposite the first position. An interlock is operable to disable the steering control device as it rotates between the first and second operating positions. A method detecting a position of a steering control that is configured to provide a steering function of a vehicle in either of a first or a second operating position, where the first position is oriented opposite that of the second operating position. Further receiving an interlock signal and enabling the steering function and a traction function when the interlock signal indicates that the position of the steering control is in the first or second operator position and disabling when the steering control is not an operating position.

A materials handling vehicle may include a vehicle frame, a drive wheel, a first caster assembly located on the right side of the drive wheel, and a second caster assembly located on the left side of the drive wheel. A weight distribution assembly connects the first or second caster assembly to the vehicle frame and may include an adjustable preload mechanism to provide a preload force to the first or second caster assembly.

An industrial vehicle including a lifting device, a hydraulic system having two or more pump motors that provide hydraulic flow to the lifting device, a load-handling device, and a second hydraulic system fluidly coupled to the main hydraulic system. Adjustable pantograph configuration for an industrial vehicle

An industrial truck has a height-adjustable standing and/or sitting arrangement for an operator and steering hydraulics. The standing and/or sitting arrangement is connected with a hydraulic positioning cylinder, which is connected to the steering hydraulics for the height adjustment of the standing and/or sitting arrangement. The positioning cylinder is connected in parallel with a steering motor and can be acted upon from both sides by the steering hydraulics. An electromagnetically actuatable valve, which can be controlled by a control unit, is disposed in a hydraulic line leading to a positioning space of the positioning cylinder associated with the upward movement of the height adjustment. The control unit prevents height adjustment if another work function is being executed by the industrial truck.
