The present invention relates to a process for the production of olefinic compounds that can be used for the production of detergents, additives, lubricants and/or plastic materials, or components which can be used in the field of oil explorations and productions, and a hydrocarbon fuel or a fraction thereof, which comprises subjecting a mixture of glycerides having at least one unsaturated hydrocarbon chain, to metathesis reaction and, after separating the olefinic mixture obtained, effecting a hydrodeoxygenation and subsequently hydroisomerization process, so as to obtain the hydrocarbon fuel or a fraction thereof.

The present invention relates to a process for the dehydration of at least one oxygenated compound, preferably selected from saturated alcohols, unsaturated alcohols, diols, ethers, in the presence of at least one dehydration catalyst selected from cerium oxide (CeO), aluminium oxide (&#x3b3;-AlO), aluminium silicate, silica-aluminas (SiO&#x2014;AlO), aluminas, zeolites, sulfonated resins, ion-exchange resins, metal oxides (for example, lanthanum oxide, zirconium oxide, tungsten oxide, thallium oxide, magnesium oxide, zinc oxide); of at least one basic agent selected from ammonia (NH), or from inorganic or organic compounds containing nitrogen capable of developing ammonia (NH) during said dehydration process; and, optionally, of silica (SiO), or of at least one catalyst for the dissociation of ammonia (NH) selected from catalysts comprising silica (SiO), preferably of silica (SiO).

Method for the separation of the isoprenic constituents of guayule

The invention relates to a new process which allows the preparation of TS-1 zeolites in a pure phase and with a crystallinity higher than 95%, operating at reduced reaction volumes, and obtaining high productivities and extremely high crystallization yields. A catalytic composition is described for the transalkylation of aromatic hydrocarbons comprising a zeolite and an inorganic binder, characterized by an extra-zeolitic porosity, i.e. the porosity obtained by adding the mesoporosity and the macroporosity fractions present in the catalytic composition, higher than or equal to 0.7 cc/g, which is such as to consist for a fraction of at least 30% of pores having a diameter greater than 100 nanometers. These catalytic compositions have a crushing strength not lower than 1.7 kg/mm and an apparent density not higher than 0.5 g/cc. A process is also described for the transalkylation of polyalkylated aromatic hydrocarbons which uses these catalytic compositions.

The present invention relates to a new zeolite having a beta-type crystalline structure, characterized by a distribution of the Lewis acid sites and Br&#xf8;nsted acid sites corresponding to a molar ratio [Lewis sites] [Br&#xf8;nsted sites] equal to or higher than 1.5. This new zeolite is useful in preparation processes of alkylated aromatic hydrocarbons through the alkylation and/or transalkylation of aromatic compounds. The preparation method of the new zeolite is also object of the present invention.

Integrated process for the production of 2,6-dimethylnaphthalene

Process for preparing alkylated aromatic compounds which comprises reacting an aromatic compound with a ketone and hydrogen in the presence of a catalytic composition comprising a solid acid material and copper. A preferred aspect is to use a catalytic composition also containing one or more elements selected from elements of groups IIIA, IVA, IIIB, IVB, VB, VIB, VIIB, group VIII limited to Fe, Ru and Os, and of the series of lanthanides. A particularly preferred aspect is to use a catalytic composition containing one or more elements selected from elements of groups IIIA and VIB.

Process for the alkylation of aromatic compounds

The object of the present invention relates to a simple, rapid and inexpensive process for effecting solid-liquid separations in the case of zeolites, also having small crystals. This process, which is particularly useful for the recovery of zeolite crystals in suspension in the crystallization water, comprises treating this suspension of crystals with an acid or one of its precursors and subjecting the resulting mixture to filtration or decanting. According to a particular aspect of the invention, the crystalline phase is separated in a mixture with oxides which can be used as ligands. Said oxides can be generated by the reagents of the zeolite preparation reagent mixture, not transformed into crystalline phase during the synthesis hydrothermal treatment, or they can be added to the suspension of crystals before the separation treatment, or again they can be generated by precursors suitably added to the crystallization slurry.
