Gear selector device of an automatic transmission in which a first lever which can be operated manually is movable between a rest position and a first operating position to control an down-shift of the gear and a second lever which can be operated manually is movable between a rest position and a first operating position to control an up-shift of the gear engaged. The first and the second lever produce respective second operating positions to control the following operations: the engagement of reverse gear; the selection of an automatic mode of operation of the automatic transmission; and the selection of a 'sports'-type of mode of operation of the automatic transmission.

Unit for controlling the shaft for selection and engagement of gears, provided with a control shaft, which can be connected to the said shaft for selection and engagement of the gears, with a device for movement, which can impart to the shaft angular movements which are designed to implement the passage between two angular engagement positions of gears which belong to a single row, and with a cam-guide device, which can modify the said angular displacements, selectively by command, into combined axial and angular displacements, such as to implement the change of gear between consecutive gears which belong to consecutive rows; the cam-guide device being axially mobile along the control shaft, between a plurality of row-change positions, at each of which it can guide the control shaft in the said combined angular and axial displacement, which can implement the passage of gear between two consecutive gears which belong to two consecutive rows; the cam-guide device also being able selectively to use the angular displacement of the control shaft during the passage of gear between two consecutive gears in a single row, in order to implement its own displacement along the control shaft, from one row-change position to the one which is adjacent, such as to be ready to implement a successive change of row.

Unit for controlling the shaft for selection and engagement of the gears of a gear change

A control device for controlling a gear shift rod, and having a control shaft connected to the gear shift rod; a linear actuator for effecting given axial displacements or given angular displacements of the control rod to shift between two gear engagement positions in the same range; a first cam guide device for converting, on command, the axial or angular displacements into combined axial-angular displacements, so as to shift between consecutive gears in consecutive ranges; and a second cam guide device for converting, on command, the axial or angular displacements into combined axial-angular displacements, so as to shift between nonconsecutive gears in not necessarily consecutive ranges.

Transmission gear shift rod control device

The device connects a first shaft having a respective first axis, and a second shaft having a respective second axis located a given distance from and parallel to the first axis, and has an arm integral with the first shaft, and a pocket located along the second axis of the second shaft and engaged by a distal end of the arm. The device has a body fitted to the second shaft and having a peripheral portion in which the pocket is formed, and a recess is formed close to the pocket to permit access to the pocket by the distal end.

Connecting device

A control device for a gearbox of a vehicle is provided with fixed support. A control element carried by the fixed support is able to move along a first axis to carry out a gear rank selection operation and also able to rotate about the first axis to carry out a gear engagement/disengagement operation. An actuator having an output element movable along a second axis is orthogonal to the first axis and cooperating with the control element to rotate it about the first axis. An engagement element carried in an integral manner by the control element is also provided. A cam which can be activated selectively and is suitable for cooperating in a sliding manner with the engagement element to displace the control element axially by a predetermined quantity during the rotation of the control element about the first axis is included. Selective activation of the cam during the gear selection operation is possible.

A fitting consisting of a cap having a tube projecting radially or along the longitudinal axis of the injector, for connecting the injector supply tube, the cap being fitted in idle and fluidtight manner, via the interposition of an O-ring, on to a union on the injector; and a pair of coaxially-mating half rings fitted in axially integral manner partly on the cap and partly on the union, and held together by a retainer ring snapped externally on to the same.
