A compact case comprises a product palette configured with one or more product wells. The palette is connected to, and rests, on top of a shock absorbing insert, and both are located in the base of the compact. The shock absorbing insert is a flexible member comprised of one or more hubs from which one or more projections extend. The shock absorbing insert is able to absorb and dissipate energy during impact so that product in the product in the product wells is protected.

Shock absorbing inserts for cosmetic compacts

A system for sample, trial, and/or full-sized products includes a container defining at least one cavity, a product disk, a cosmetic product, and an applicator. The product disk includes a first side, a second side, and a body extending therebetween. The product disk is positionable adjacent to the at least one cavity of the container. The cosmetic product is at least partially disposed on the first side of the product disk. The applicator has first end that includes an applicator coupling mechanism. The product disk is removably coupled with the cavity of the container and the applicator coupling mechanism.

The cosmetic product is at least partially disposed on the first side of the product disk. The applicator has first end that includes an applicator retention region and an applicator release region. The product disk is insertably coupled with the applicator retention region.
