A computer-implemented method for monitoring a condition of a location is disclosed. This method includes storing monitoring records relating to segments of the location comprising one or more monitoring records being collected by the mobile computing device passing through the segment and monitoring records being received from a source mobile computing device of the mobile computing devices, each of the monitoring records comprising monitoring values indicative of a condition of corresponding positions of the corresponding segment, transmitting the monitoring records of each segment being stored to a target mobile computing devices, filtering the monitoring records of each segment being stored according to a homogeneity thereof, and uploading the monitoring records of each segment being filtered to validate the monitoring records of each segment according to a matching thereof and to determine at least one condition indicator of each segment according to the corresponding monitoring records being validated.

Collaborative monitoring of location conditions

The present disclosure relates to facilitating a recertification of access control information. A corresponding method comprises collecting network traffic information relating to a network. Context information is estimated from the network traffic information for accesses to the software application relating to invocations over the network of services contributing (at least in part) to implement the software application. For example, the context information is estimated by an estimation engine that is configured incrementally during a migration of the software application from a module architecture to a service architecture (according to the network traffic information and to corresponding log information). A computer program and a computer program product for performing the method are also proposed. Moreover, a system for implementing the method is proposed.

Recertification of access control information based on context information estimated from network traffic

A solution is proposed for facilitating a maintenance of an access control system. A corresponding method comprises evaluating one or more trigger policies according to one or more policy parameters; the policy parameters of the trigger policies in part relate to risks of the access control system and/or to countermeasures for mitigating the risks. A revision of the access control system, comprising a corresponding mining activity, is triggered according to a result of the evaluation of the trigger policies. A computer program and a computer program product for performing the method are also proposed. Moreover, a system for implementing the method is proposed.

An approach for enhancing speech reproduction based on recognizing text segments from sound segments of an audio signal. Enhanced text segments are generated from any text segments whose quality indicators do not reach a threshold level, and enhanced speech segments are synthetized from the enhanced text segments. An enhanced sound is reproduced comprising enhanced sound segments based on the enhanced speech segments.

Aspects of the present invention disclose a method for encoding and transmitting access codes of a network to a computing device that is attempting to access the network. The method includes one or more processors identifying an audio command received by a first computing device. The method further includes generating a sound waveform that includes an access code of an access point, by encoding the access code into the sound waveform. The method further includes defining a sound power level of the sound waveform. The method further includes transmitting the sound waveform. The method further includes determining whether a second computing device receives the access code that is encoded in the sound waveform.

Secure transmittal of wireless local area network access codes

A solution is proposed for sharing secret information for accessing a wireless computing network. A corresponding method for distributing the secret information by a source (computing) device comprises receiving a public key of the a target (computing) device, transmitting a verification token to the target device, receiving an utterance of the verification token and transmitting the secret information encrypted with the public key in response to the utterance of the verification token. Sharing of secret information for accessing a wireless computing network

A method, computer program product and a computer system for facilitating a maintenance of access control information for controlling access to one or more resources of an information technology system by one or more subjects. One or more trigger policies are evaluated according to one or more policy parameters relating to the resources, the subjects and/or the access to the resources by the subjects. A revision of the access control information including a mining activity for mapping the subjects to the resources is triggered according to a result of the evaluation of the trigger policies. A computer program and a computer program product for performing the method are also proposed.

Policy-based triggering of revision of access control information

A method includes obtaining first audio data corresponding to speech occurring within a communication area. The first audio data is obtained from one or more interior locations inside the communication area. The method includes obtaining second audio data corresponding to the speech. The second audio data is obtained from one or more exterior locations outside of the communication area. The method includes calculating a first intelligibility based on the first audio data and calculating a second intelligibility based on the second audio data. The method includes comparing the first intelligibility to the second intelligibility, and determining, based on the comparing, that the second intelligibility exceeds a threshold. Regulating speech sound dissemination

A radio receiver of an audio system receives a radio signal that includes a main signal and a radio data system (RDS) signal. The RDS signal includes custom information associated with media content tags and synchronized with time slots in the main signal. A media streaming service identifies targeted media content based on a profile of a mobile device connected to the audio system and sends the targeted media content to the mobile device over an Internet connection. During a playing of the audio broadcast, the audio system receives a custom information in the RDS signal and sends to the mobile device a request including the media content tag associated with the custom information. In response, the audio system receives from the mobile device a targeted media content matching the media content tag. The audio system plays the targeted media content synchronized with the time slot in the main signal.

A solution is proposed for monitoring quality of a conference call. Corresponding methods are implemented on a client computing machine of a participant to the conference call, a server computing machine for managing the conference call and a computing system comprising the server computing machine and a plurality of client computing machines, respectively. One or more test signals (having corresponding test frequencies within a human audible range) are generated by each client computing machine in the mute mode without audible effects on the participant. The test signals are transmitted from the client computing machine to the server computing machine. The server computing machine verifies the quality of the conference call for the participant according to a comparison of one or more received signals (received from the client computing machine) with the test signals. Computer programs and computer program products for performing the corresponding methods are also proposed.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for accessing a network by one or more client devices via a plurality of access devices of wireless type. An access device receives a hand-over request for performing a hand-over from one of the client devices accessing the network via the access device, the hand-over request comprising an indication of one or more candidate access devices of the other access devices for performing the hand-over. The hand-over between the access device and a target access device of the candidate access devices is negotiate in response to the hand-over request. A further hand-over is negotiate of a further client device accessing the network via a source one of the other access devices between the access device and the source access device. The access device enables the further client device to access the network.

Assessment of machine learning performance with limited test data

A mechanism is provided for authentication and authorization of an access to a resource by a device may be provided. The device may be a system-on-a-chip resource weak device. The mechanism forms a federation of a group of the devices in a neighborhood. The devices are wireless communication enabled. The mechanism builds a representational vector for each device of the federation of devices during an initial authentication procedure for the device. The representational vector comprises characteristic parameters of the device and neighboring devices. The mechanism uses an access token based authorization process for accessing the resource. A client system associated with a user includes at least one hardware processor configured to initiate the following operations. A modified login page is received from a proxy hardware system. An asynchronous engine is loaded by a browser system executing on the client system and caused by a routine from the modified login page.
