A chair includes a base structure, a seat carried by the base structure, and a backrest movable relative to the seat between a rest position and a rearward inclined position, wherein the backrest has a connecting portion having a front surface and a rear surface, and wherein the seat has first and second guide surfaces which guide, respectively, the front surface and the rear surface of the connecting portion of the backrest.

A folding chair comprising: a first structure including a pair of front legs and a backrest, a second structure including a pair of rear legs movable with respect to the first structure between an open position and a closed position, and a seat movable about an articulation axis between a lowered position and a raised position, wherein the seat comprises: a support frame pivoting about said articulation axis between a lowered position and a raised position, a seating element movable with respect to the support frame along a direction transverse with respect to said articulation axis, and at least one transmission mechanism configured to move the seating element along said direction between a first position corresponding to the lowered position of the support frame and a second position corresponding to the raised position of the support frame.

A folding chair comprising: a seat comprising a seat panel fixed to two seat supports, a backrest comprising a flexible backrest panel and two backrest supports having respective upper portions that engage respective side edges of said flexible backrest panel, a folding frame carrying the seat and the backrest and comprising a first structure including a pair of rear legs and a second structure including a pair of front legs, wherein the first structure and the second structure are articulated together about a first axis, a pair of joints each comprising a first half-coupling fixed to a respective rear leg and a second half-coupling fixed to a respective front leg, wherein the first half-coupling, the second half-coupling, and a respective seat support are rotatable relative to each other about said first axis, so that the first structure, the second structure and the seat are rotatable about said first axis between a position of use and a storage position.

A folding chair comprising a seat and a backrest carried by a folding structure, wherein the folding structure comprises a first structure defining a pair of front legs and a second structure defining a pair of rear legs, articulated to each other about a transverse axis by means of a pair of joints and movable relative to one another between an open position and a closed position, wherein the first structure comprises two first side elements and the second structure comprises two second side elements and wherein each of said joints comprises a first half-joint fixed to a respective first side element and a second half-joint fixed to a respective second side element, wherein the first and the second half-joints are rotatable relative to one another about said transverse axis, wherein the first structure comprises a pair of rods mounted within respective first side elements and movable between a raised position and a lowered position.

A chair having a fixed support structure including two side uprights, a backrest having two side portions, and a pair of elastic joints connecting said side portions of the backrest to said side uprights, wherein each of said elastic joints comprises: a bushing fixed to a respective side upright, a helical spring having a longitudinal axis, the helical spring having an upper end resting against a front wall of the bushing, a compression member resting against a lower end of the spring, an upper attachment fixed to a corresponding side portion of the backrest, and a rigid connecting rod having an upper end and a lower end.

A chair comprising: a metal frame formed by a plurality of metal elements, including a seat portion having two seat support elements and a backrest portion having two backrest support elements extending upwardly from the seat portion, a flexible backrest panel and/or a flexible seat panel of plastic material having two lateral hollow portions into which respective support elements are inserted, wherein, in a rest condition, there is a transverse clearance between outer edges of said lateral hollow portions and the respective support elements and wherein, in a deformed condition of the flexible backrest panel and/or flexible seat panel said transverse clearance is reduced to zero.

A chair comprising: a base structure, a seat fixed to the base structure, a backrest, and a pair of oscillation joints which connect the backrest to the seat or to the base structure so as to allow tilting of the backrest around a transverse axis between a rest position and a backwardly tilted position, wherein each of said oscillation joints comprises: an essentially L-shaped rigid support a rigid lever articulated to the rigid support, and having a first and a second lever arm located on opposite sides with respect to the articulation axis, and an elastic device comprising a telescopic element and a compression spring, wherein the elastic device applies an elastic force between said rigid support and said first lever arm and wherein said second lever arm protrudes outwards from said rigid support and is fixed to a corresponding side edge of the backrest.

Chair comprising, a base structure bearing a seat, a tilting backrest, and at least one joint which connects the backrest to the base structure and allows a movement of the backrest between a rest position and a backward tilted position under a backwards push applied by the user, wherein said joint comprises a first and a second curved component with a circular profile coupled together in a telescopic manner and fixed to the base structure or to the seat and, respectively, to the backrest.
