The provided electronic device includes: a display; a communication module capable of communicating with an external server; a processor configured to control the communication module and the display; and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein, when the electronic device is executed, the memory includes instructions for the processor to control the communication module to transmit identification information of the electronic device to the external server, control the communication module to receive, from the external server, user identification information generated by the server in response to the identification information of the electronic device, control the display to display a purchase list generated based on the user identification information, and control the display to display a user interface through which payment for the purchase list is possible, based on a user input for confirming the purchase list.
