A display device comprises a first display area, a second display area adjacent to a side of the first display area, a third display area adjacent to a side of the second display area, a plurality of emission areas disposed in the first, second, and third display areas to emit light, and a light blocking layer surrounding the plurality of emission areas. A width of the light blocking layer between adjacent emission areas in a first direction in each of the first and third display areas is greater than a width of the light blocking layer between adjacent emission areas in the first direction in the second display area.

A display panel of a display device includes emission areas and a non-emission area between adjacent ones of the emission areas. A sensing electrode is disposed on the non-emission area of the display panel. A light blocking member is disposed on a portion of the sensing electrode. The light blocking member absorbs light of a specific wavelength, and another portion of the sensing electrode that does not overlap with the light blocking member reflects light of the specific wavelength. When viewed on a plane, the light blocking member includes a first part and a second part having different line widths in a first direction.

A driving method of a display device includes receiving a deterioration amount for a target pixel, calculating a first compensation amount for the target pixel based on the deterioration amount for the target pixel, receiving a gaze angle of a user with respect to the target pixel, selecting one of the first compensation amount and a second compensation amount based on the gaze angle, and calculating an output grayscale for the target pixel by applying the one of the first compensation amount and the second compensation amount to an input grayscale of the target pixel, where the second compensation amount is calculated based on the gaze angle, and the first compensation amount is calculated regardless of the gaze angle.

A display device includes a display unit including a plurality of emission areas, a plurality of touch electrodes that sense a touch, a plurality of code patterns that cover a part of a front surface of at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes, and a plurality of light-blocking dummy patterns formed on some of the plurality of touch electrodes on which the plurality of code patterns is not formed. A display device includes a pixel having a plurality of emission areas, a plurality of touch electrodes disposed between the plurality of emission areas to sense a touch, a plurality of position code patterns covering a partial front surface of at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in a preset code shape, and a light blocking pattern disposed on front surfaces of the plurality of touch electrodes on which the plurality of position code patterns are not formed. A width or size of the plurality of position code patterns is greater than a width or size of the light blocking pattern.
