An apparatus and method for receiving data in a communication system including a communication module and a memory. The communication module may compress data received from an external system by using a first data compression/decompression block, and may transfer the compressed data to the data bus. The memory may decompress the compressed data received from the data bus using the second data compression/decompression block, and may store the decompressed data in the memory. Also, the memory may compress data to be transmitted using the second data compression/decompression block and may transfer the compressed data to the data bus. The communication module may decompress the compressed data received from the data bus using the first data compression/decompression block, and may transmit the decompressed data to the external system.

Communication system and data transception method thereof

A method of decoding a control channel in a wireless communication system is provided. In the method, a terminal calculates the number of sub-bursts to be used during a next decoding and positions of the sub-bursts, based on a signal-to-noise ratio of at least one of a first burst or a second burst. Then, the terminal compares the calculated number of sub-bursts with a reference value. When the calculated number of sub-bursts is greater than the reference value, the terminal does not receive more bursts or sub-bursts and instead enters into a sleep state. When the calculated number of sub-bursts is smaller than or equal to the reference value, the terminal receives and decodes only sub-bursts at the calculated positions.

Method and apparatus for decoding a control channel in a wireless communication system

A secure booting method for a mobile terminal comprising: checking configuration information stored in a non-volatile memory embedded in the mobile terminal to determine whether the configuration information is effective when the mobile terminal is booted, connecting the mobile terminal with a host to copy a downloader and a downloader certificate from the host when it is determined that the configuration information is not effective, performing authentication of the copied downloader using the downloader certificate and an authentication key stored in the mobile terminal, and downloading a program stored in the host to the non-volatile memory using the downloader when the downloader is authenticated.
