An apparatus includes a hydrostatic bailer and a lead impression block. The hydrostatic bailer is disposed in the well and removes debris from the fish using a plunger, a shear pin, and a valve. The valve controls hydraulic communication between an orifice of a hollow body of the valve and a cavity of the hydrostatic bailer by opening and closing. The shear pin is configured to shear and allow the plunger to move within the hydrostatic bailer to open the valve and remove the debris from the fish. The lead impression block is connected to the hollow body of the valve in the hydrostatic bailer. The lead impression block is configured to set against the fish, using the hydrostatic bailer, and obtain an impression of the fish on a single run into the well in which the debris is removed from the fish.

An apparatus includes a sand bailer and a lead impression block. The sand bailer is configured to be disposed in the tubular and obtain a sample of the obstruction. The sand bailer includes a piston movably disposed in a cavity of a barrel and a valve connected to a downhole end of the barrel and configured to control hydraulic communication between an orifice of a hollow body of the valve and a cavity of the barrel by opening and closing. The piston is configured to create a suction pressure in the cavity of the barrel to open the valve and retrieve the sample of the obstruction into the cavity and wherein the valve is configured to close to hold the sample of the obstruction in the cavity of the barrel. The lead impression block is connected to the hollow body of the valve in the sand bailer. The lead impression block is configured to set against the obstruction, using the sand bailer, and obtain an impression of the obstruction.

A wellbore stimulation operation method includes conveying a downhole assembly into a wellbore a first time, the downhole assembly including a perforating gun and one or more friction-reducing subs operatively coupled to the perforating gun, axially aligning the perforating gun with a production zone penetrated by the wellbore, triggering operation of the perforating gun and thereby creating a plurality of perforations in the production zone, removing the downhole assembly from the wellbore and replacing the perforating gun with a plug, conveying the downhole assembly including the plug into the wellbore a second time, axially aligning the plug with a location downhole from the plurality of perforations, centralizing the plug within the wellbore with the one or more friction-reducing subs such that sealing elements included in the plug are not damaged while traversing the plurality of perforations, and deploying the plug within the wellbore downhole from the plurality of perforations.

Method and downhole device for perforating and isolating tightly spaced zones in highly-deviated wellbores

To monitor integrity of downhole mechanical plug, a plug is deployed to a target position in a wellbore. The plug is set at the target position to provide a seal between the plug and an internal surface of a wellbore wall. The seal isolates the wellbore uphole of the plug from downhole of the plug. The plug includes a perforated carrier having a tracer system within. Fluid in the wellbore downhole of the plug is allowed to flow through holes of the perforated carrier to contact the tracer system thereby releasing the tracer into the fluid. Fluid produced uphole of the plug is flowed to the Earth surface. A sample of the produced fluid is collected and analyzed for presence of tracer in the sample. By doing so, integrity of the plug is evaluated.
