A device, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium are described. The method includes receiving a dataset including hand written Arabic words and hand written Arabic alphabets from one or more users. The method further includes removing whitespace around alphabets in the hand written Arabic words and the hand written Arabic alphabets in the dataset. The method further includes splitting the dataset into a training set, a validation set, and a test set. The method further includes classifying one or more user datasets from the training set, the validation set, and the test set. The method further includes identifying the target user from the one or more user datasets. The identification of the target user includes a verification accuracy of the hand written Arabic words being larger than a verification accuracy threshold value.

A pothole monitoring and repair system for a road surface includes at least one UAV which includes a video camera, a video processor, a computing unit and a global positioning receiver. The UAV generates video streams of road surfaces using the video camera which are processed by the video processor to extract road frames. The computing unit generates a geo-fenced area of the road surface, and determines whether there is at least one pothole in each of the road frames within the geo-fenced area. The cloud server generates a map of the geo-fenced area, labels location coordinates of each pothole on the map, identifies and labels geographical features in the road frames within the geo-fenced area, extracts pothole features in the road frames, and uses a classifier to predict repair actions based on pothole features and geographical features, which are presented on a front end interface.

A paper tray access system for a printer includes a locking cover of paper tray, an authentication device, a weight sensor located beneath the paper tray, a printer display, a computing device including electrical circuitry, a memory storing program instructions and at least one processor. The computing device is configured to receive user input from the authentication device and determine whether the user input matches the authentication record. When user input matches authentication record, the computing device presents a selection on printer display to access a paper tray, receives the selection, records a first weight of the paper tray upon receiving the selection, unlocks the locking cover, records a second weight of the paper tray, calculates an amount of papers removed from paper tray when second weight is less than first weight, and calculates an amount of papers added to paper tray when second weight is greater than first weight.

A device, method, and system for converting printed Braille dots to speech. A Braille image of the printed Braille dots is captured by a digital camera mounted on a 3D ring case. Data processing and one or more image recognition operations are performed by a microprocessor to match the Braille image to a textural character corresponding to the Braille image. The textural character is converted to an audio waveform. The audio waveform is transmitted to a speaker. The speaker generates a sound representative of a spoken word corresponding to the textural character.

The method can include classifying one or more magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images of a brain into one or more of one or more tumorous images containing an image of a tumor or one or more non-tumorous images, wherein the classification is performed using a deep learning CNN system. The method can also include segmenting a tumor region from one of the one or more tumorous images. The segmenting can include a neighboring Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) process. The method can further include classifying the segmented tumor region into one of four classes of brain tumor types. The segmented tumor region is classified as a particular brain tumor type using the deep learning CNN system. The method can also include reconstructing a 3D model of the tumor region and measuring one or more of a location of the tumor, a shape of the tumor, or a volume of the tumor.
