The present relates to an electrical connector system which includes a first connector assembly having a first connector and a second connector to be coupled one to the other; a second connector assembly having a third connector and a housing contiguous to the first connector, the housing having an open connecting face for receiving within a complementary part of the third connector so as to perform a coupling one to the other. This connector system may include a movable element which is movable between two positions, i.e.: a 'first position' in which it masks at least partially the open connecting face, so that it makes impossible the coupling with the third connector; a 'second position' in which it does not mask the front open connecting face, so that it makes possible the coupling with the third connector; the movable element being able to be moved into the &#x201c;second position&#x201d; only when said first and second connectors are fully coupled together.

This connector part includes an insulating housing provided with a plurality of sockets for receiving a contact, which have a rear contact insertion end; a joint, which is provided with a plurality of cable passages corresponding to the sockets and which is placed in said housing behind the sockets; and a cable-guiding grid, which is fixed in the housing behind the joint, supporting the latter, said grid being provided with a plurality of cable passages corresponding to the sockets. It also includes a member for blocking the passages of the grid, which is fixed on said grid and is designed for being pierced selectively for the insertion of contacts into a predetermined group of sockets. The invention also relates to a piercing tool, which is designed for being used with one such connector part, and to a corresponding wiring method.

The invention concerns a sealing system for a multiterminal electrical connector () comprising a multiterminal seal () with several through-holes () passing right through the seal and each one designed to receive an electrical connection wire () and a tubular single-unit seal () partly enclosing the connection wire and inserted, at least partly, in one of the through-holes of the multiterminal seal.

The invention relates to a retaining device for maintaining an electric contact () in the connector socket () of a connection box (). The inventive device comprises a bearing surface () interacting with a shoulder () which is arranged on the level of said contact () and is characterised in that the bearing surface and the shoulder () are provided with supplementary nonplanar profiles in such a way that the thus obtained contact plane has a larger contact surface than the contact planes having the equal size across the width thereof.

The invention relates to a female electrical contact terminal obtained from a single plate of electrically conductive metal including a rear part making possible a crimped connection with an electrical wire, a front part including a cageconsisting of a bottom, a top, two sides, at least one strip ensuring a contact with a complementary male contact terminal, a transition part linking the front part with the rear part, an extension leg at least traversing the transition zone.
