Provided are a font generating system and a font generating method. The font generating system and the font generating method of the present disclosure are provided to include a component decomposer which has at least one character input thereto and decomposes the input character into at least one component, a component converter which converts the at least one component into a component with a predetermined font to generate at least one imaging component, and a component recomposer which recomposes the at least one imaging component to generate a fonted character.

A system for providing fonts, an apparatus for providing Metafont fonts, and a method for controlling the apparatus are disclosed. The disclosed apparatus, which connects to a device to provide Metafont fonts, includes: a communication module configured to receive a first font request from the device for the font engine, where the first font request includes at least one font style parameter and the ID information of a Metafont font file; and an operating module configured to determine whether or not a font file having ID information identical to the ID information of the font file included in the first font request exists in a first external memory, and if a font file having identical ID information exists, determine whether or not the font converted from the font file having identical ID information is saved in a second external memory.

System for providing fonts, apparatus for providing metafont fonts, and method for controlling the apparatus

A method and apparatus for generating a font of which style is changeable are disclosed. The disclosed method is a method for generating a font to be performed on an apparatus including a processor. The method comprises (a) setting a fixed style parameter which cannot change the style, wherein the fixed style parameter is included in style parameters, and a METAFONT consists of the style parameter and a letter drawing function, (b) generating an intermediate code based on the letter drawing function and the fixed style parameter; and (c) generating an output font by combining the intermediate code with a variable style parameter which can change the style, wherein the variable style parameter is included in the style parameter.
