A radial-flow scrubber () for separating dust and pollutants from gases, comprises a housing (), a raw gas inlet (), a feeder () for a washing liquid, a washing zone (), a clean gas outlet (), and an outlet () for the washing liquid. The washing zone () comprises an inlet funnel (), a scrubbing zone () having an adjustable flow cross-section, and a drive () for adjusting the cross section of the scrubbing zone (), as well as a tubular shell () detachably mounted to the housing (), wherein in a ceiling of the housing () an opening is provided through which the complete washing zone () can be integrally withdrawn.
