A carrier is adapted for use in a shaving device and includes at least one pair () of a cutting element () and a hair lifting element (). The bent shape of the at least one of the elements () is such that in a functional arrangement of the elements () with respect to each other, edge portions () of the elements () are located at a distance with respect to each other. Thus, a space () is present between the elements () at the side of their edge portions (), which can be used for receiving cut-off hair stubbles which might otherwise hinder a movement of the hair lifting element ().
