The disclosure pertains to a spin-on fluid treatment device, including a treatment medium disposed within a housing, a top surface having an internally threaded bore and an outlet tube at least partially disposed inside said threaded bore in a concentric position. The outlet tube can have an externally oriented sealing portion for engaging with a complementary element of an inlet spud of an entity that receives said treated fluids. The outlet tube can be configured as an alignment feature to guide the treatment device onto the inlet spud during installation. The outlet tube can be configured with both an externally oriented sealing portion and an alignment feature. Filter systems; components; features; and, methods of assembly and use

Fluid filtration systems and methods for servicing thereof are disclosed. The fluid filtration system includes a filter cartridge, a fluid transfer pump, and a valve assembly that can be selectively operated and positioned to achieve a normal filtration mode of operation, a fuel drain mode of operation, and a water drain mode of operation. In the normal mode, the filter cartridge is in an installed position, the pump is rotated in a first direction, and the valve is placed in a first position. In the fuel drain mode, the filter cartridge is in a service position, the pump is rotated in a second direction, and the valve is placed in a second position. In the water drain mode, the filter cartridge is in an installed position, the pump is rotated in the second direction, and the valve is placed in the first position.

Systems and methods for servicing a fluid filtration system

According to the present disclosure, arrangements, systems, components, features and methods for filtration are described. The components specifically described include a filter cartridge with preferred features for interaction with a filter housing, and a filter housing with preferred features for convenient installation. Methods of assembly and use are also characterized.

Filter cartridge

A fluid filter cartridge has a first filter element and a second filter element. The first and second filter elements are arranged consecutively along a longitudinal extension of the fluid filter cartridge. The first filter element has two opposite end faces, one of the end faces being covered by a connection end cap and the other end face being covered by a first end cap. The second filter element has an end face being covered by the connection end cap and another end face covered by a second end cap. At least one port is at the connection end cap in fluid communication with at least one of the first filter element and second filter element. A central axis of the connection end cap orthogonal to a main extension plane of the connection end cap is offset in relation to a central axis of the first end cap orthogonal to a main extension plane of the first end cap and/or a central axis of the second end cap orthogonal to a main extension plane of the second end cap.

Fluid filter cartridge, fluid filter arrangement, and method for servicing a fluid filter arrangement

The disclosure relates to a fuel filter assembly, a filter element, and a method of draining water from a fuel filter assembly. The fuel filter assembly comprises a filter element with a water collecting space; the filter element being connected to a fuel pipe for feeding an upstream side of the filter element with fuel and for providing filtered fuel from a downstream side of the filter element to a combustion engine or parts thereof; a fuel pump arranged downstream from the filter element, wherein the fuel pump can be operated in a first mode for drawing fuel through the filter element and in a second, reverse mode for feeding fuel back to the filter element; a one-way fuel valve arranged upstream of the filter element allowing for flow towards the upstream side of the filter element; a pressure-actuated one-way drain valve in communication with the water collecting space.

A pressure control valve assembly, (i.e. pressure regulator valve assembly) is described which is configured for at least a two stage operation including: a first stage in which flow is allowed through two sections of the valve frame; and, a second stage in which the valve member is biased against one of the sections of the valve frame and not the second section. Specific example features and configurations are depicted and described. A crankcase ventilation filter assembly including the pressure control valve assembly is described.
