There is provided a computer implemented method of manufacturing a truss of a three dimensional (3D) object representation, comprising: receiving a definition of the 3D object representation, arranging within an interior space of the 3D object representation, a plurality of instances of a sphere having a common radius to create a packed sphere arrangement, computing nodes of a truss for the 3D object representation, each respective node positioned at a center of each respective instance of each sphere of the packed sphere arrangement, computing beams of the truss by connecting adjacent nodes with respective beams, and providing code instructions for execution by a manufacturing device controller of a manufacturing device for manufacturing the truss.

Methods and systems of generating a three dimensional model based on a plurality of images

A method for deforming a plurality of shapes is described wherein each of the shapes comprises a set of parametric curves. The method comprises: providing a parametric surface, and forming a deformed shape for each of the shapes by performing a symbolic composition between the parametric surface and each parametric curve from the set of parametric curves comprising the shape being deformed. The parametric surface is defined by two parameters varying over a parametric domain, such that each of the parametric curves comprising the shapes lies in the parametric domain of the surface.

A virtual environment for user interaction, and virtual objects for use therein, the virtual objects having an internal co-ordinate system with natural language definition to allow simplified inter-object relationships. The internal co-ordinate system is used to define docking positions for connecting to other objects to allow logical or natural positional relationships. A dynamically defined menu system allows pop-up menus for simple user entry of required relationships.
