A container having a cylindrical pouring nozzle with an external thread and with a stop; a cap with an internal thread which can be screwed onto the external thread of the pouring nozzle as far as an end position in which the cap bears in the direction of rotation on the stop of the pouring nozzle; and a seal made of a material which is softer than a material of the cap and a material of the pouring nozzle. The seal is fixedly connected to the cap and has a first sealing element which, with the cap screwed on, is arranged in a radial direction between the cap and pouring nozzle and bears on a lateral surface portion of the pouring nozzle.

Container with cap

A dispensing closure for a product container includes a plastic closure body having a top wall with a dispensing opening which is arranged in line with a dispensing passage of the container. The closure includes a self-closing valve embodied as a membrane made of a plastic foil. The membrane has a valve portion, which in use can assume an open position under influence of product pressure, and an attachment portion surrounding the valve portion. The attachment portion of the valve is sealed to an annular support surface integrally formed in the closure body along the periphery of the opening or being formed on a plastic annular insert part that is connected to the closure body along the periphery of the opening. The seal between the attachment portion and the support surface includes an annular groove and an inner annular seal zone adjoining the annular groove on a radial inner side.

Dispensing closure with self-closing valve

The invention relates to a closure assembly configured to be mounted on a neck of a container, which closure assembly includes a cap with a dispensing opening and a self-closing dispensing valve attached to the cap such that it is located adjacent the dispensing opening, and wherein the dispensing valve is a disc of foil material having a central valve area in which at least one self-closing slit is located and an annular peripheral attachment area extending around the central valve area, with which attachment area the dispensing valve is attached to the attachment area of the dispensing cap such that its central valve area aligns with the dispensing opening of the dispensing cap to close off that dispensing opening, and wherein an annular rib offsets the central valve area of the dispensing valve relative to a substantially flat attachment area of the cap.

Closure assembly

A tamper-evident closure includes a tamper-evident strip connected with frangible connection points to a shoulder portion of a closure body before first time opening of the closure. In the closed position of a lid, a skirt portion of the lid is located behind the tamper-evident strip. The skirt portion includes locking lugs that protrude from the outer skirt surface towards the front and in the closed position of the lid engage an underside of the tamper-evident strip, such that upon a first-time opening the lid is only movable to the open position when the tamper-evident strip is permanently removed by breaking the frangible connecting points. The tamper-evident strip has bent end portions with frangible connection points that are bent towards the skirt portion, whereby a virtual straight line through these frangible connection points, seen from the front, lies behind a virtual straight line through the other frangible connection points.

A tamper-evident dispensing closure includes a body adapted to be attached to a container. The container has a shoulder portion surrounding a dispensing opening. The closure body has a peripheral wall and a top wall which extends over one end of the peripheral wall, such that the corresponding end of the body is closed off by the top wall and an opposite end of the body is open. The open end is in use placed over the shoulder portion of the container. The top wall is provided with a dispensing passage which in use is in line with the dispensing opening of the container. The peripheral wall is provided with tamper-evident means, which cause the peripheral wall to rupture when the closure is removed from the container, thereby indicating tampering.

Tamper evident closure

A closure assembly for a container includes a closure cap having an open ended body with a peripheral wall and a top wall provided with a dispensing passage which is defined by a collar arranged to the top wall. A self-closing valve is arranged in the closure cap. The valve includes a slit central portion and a skirt extending downwardly from the central portion, which has an outwardly extending flange. The skirt is arranged in the collar and the flange is located below the collar and extends radially outwardly beyond it. On a lower surface of the top wall, a plurality of lips is formed outward from the collar. The lips are folded over the flange such that the latter is partly enveloped between the lips and the top wall so as to secure the valve in the closure cap.

Closure assembly with valve and method for its manufacturing

An injection molding device for injection molding a flexible sleeve body for a squeezable tube, comprises a male mold part and a female mold part, which in combination with the male mold part forms a sleeve body cavity for forming the flexible sleeve body between them. The sleeve body cavity extends from a top end to an opposite bottom end in a longitudinal direction. The molding device further comprises a runner end part, which in combination with the female mold part and the male mold part forms a runner cavity at the top end of the sleeve body cavity. The runner cavity comprises a passage constituted by one or more openings connecting the annular shaped distribution channel with the sleeve body cavity for guiding the molten plastics material from a runner distribution channel into the sleeve body cavity. The one or more openings is/are evenly distributed along the perimeter of the sleeve body cavity and is/are narrow compared to the distribution channel upstream of the passage, such that the passage initially prevents the flow of molten plastics material from entering the sleeve body cavity, which results in a pressure build up in the runner cavity which eventually results in a pressure high enough to force the flow of molten plastics material through the passage into the sleeve body cavity.

Injection mould for flexible tube

A tamper-evident dispensing closure includes a body adapted to be attached to a container and a pivotable lid which is hingedly attached to the body. A tamper-evident strip is located within the contour of the body and attached to the body by means of predetermined frangible connecting points. The tamper-evident strip is engaged or engageable by at least one locking member provided on a skirt portion of the lid, such that the lid is only pivotable to the open position when the tamper-evident strip is permanently removed. The body and the pivotable lid in the closed position define a recess in which the tamper-evident strip is received in a countersunk manner. The recess has a height which essentially corresponds to the height of the tamper evident strip such that the edges of the tamper-evident strip are essentially unreachable.

Closure with tamper-evident strip

The invention relates to a spray cap for placement on top of an aerosol container of the type that has a spray valve disposed at the top of the container and a valve stem extending upwardly therefrom for actuating the valve. The spray cap comprises a cap body with a spray nozzle and a tubular member defining a spray channel arranged within the cap body. The spray channel on one end is in communication with the spray nozzle. The tubular member has a first portion which is hingedly attached to the cap body in a region adjacent the spray nozzle. The tubular member furthermore has a second portion which is angular with the first portion and which, when the spray cap is mounted on a container, extends concentrically with the valve stem of the container and is connected therewith. The cap further comprises an actuating member connected to the tubular member, such that when the actuating member is operated, the tubular member is hinged downward and the second portion of the tubular member forces down the valve stem thereby opening the valve of the container. The tubular member, in the first portion thereof, comprises at least one flexible section which is more flexible than the remainder of the tubular member, which results in that the deformation of the tubular member is easier causing the second portion of the tubular member is easier maintained in line with the valve stem.

A closure assembly for a container includes a closure cap having an open ended body with a peripheral wall and a top wall provided with a dispensing passage which is defined by a collar arranged to the top wall. A self closing valve is arranged in the closure cap. The valve includes a slit central portion and a skirt extending downwardly from the central portion, which has an outwardly extending flange. The skirt is arranged in the collar and the flange is located below the collar and extends radially outwardly beyond it. On a lower surface of the top wall, a plurality of lips is formed outward from the collar. The lips are folded over the flange such that the latter is partly enveloped between the lips and the top wall so as to secure the valve in the closure cap.
