A dry lubricant composition in powder form is provided based on a mixture of alkali metal salts of fatty acids and fatty acid glycerides which is useful in the production of aluminium cans in a deep drawing process, wherein the formed aluminium cans are immediately further processed to yield thin inorganic and/or organic protective coatings. The invention also encompasses the use of the lubricating powder for cold forming of aluminium as well as a process for the deep drawing of aluminium cans.

The present invention relates to a mixture of polyalkylsiloxanes that cure at temperatures of about 170&#xb0; C. while being unreactive under ambient conditions during storage or transport and which are obtained through a hydrosilylation reaction wherein a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated olefins consisting of 1-100% of one or more polyene(s), and 0-99 mol % of monounsaturated olefins with 6 to 15 carbon atoms is reacted with an amount of one or more polyalkylhydrosiloxanes in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst. The present invention relates to a mixture of polyalkylsiloxanes obtainable through a hydrosilylation reaction wherein a mixture of monounsaturated olefins is reacted with an amount of one or more polyalkylhydrosiloxanes in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst. Furthermore, the invention concerns polyalkylsiloxane comprising alkyl side chains consisting of linear or branched alkyl groups with 40 to 60 carbon atoms, with 16 to 30 carbon atoms, and 6 to 15 carbon atoms.
