An example device for image transfer can include a memory device, a service cubby to house a computing device and coupled to the memory device, a controller coupled to the memory device. The controller can retrieve, from the memory device, an image requested for transfer to the computing device in the memory device, perform an integrity check on the image, and transfer, via a local network of the device, the image to the computing device while the computing device is coupled to the service cubby.

An example apparatus includes a cabinet body and a first storage receptacle at the cabinet body. The first storage receptacle is to temporarily store an electronic device. The apparatus further includes a second storage receptacle at the cabinet body. The second storage receptacle is to temporarily store another electronic device. The second storage receptacle is separate from the first storage receptacle to prevent physical access to the first storage receptacle through the second storage receptacle. The apparatus further includes a fire suppression mechanism to independently suppress a fire in the first storage receptacle or a fire in the second storage receptacle.

Examples associated with receptacle isolation are described. One example service kiosk includes a set of receptacles for electronic devices. Each receptacle includes a power connector to provide power to an electronic device stored in the receptacle, a data connector to provide a data connection to the electronic device stored in the receptacle, and a locking mechanism to secure contents of the receptacle. Members of the set of receptacles are digitally isolated from other members of the set of receptacles. An authentication module authenticates a user based on a credential provided by the user, and controls a selected locking mechanism of a selected member of the set of receptacles based on the credential, and based on data received from a remote information technology module. A user interface module instructs the user through the process of at least one of storing a received electronic device in the receptacle, and retrieving a provided electronic device from the receptacle.

Receptacle isolation

Examples associated with service kiosk access are described. One example includes a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing processor executable instructions that, when executed, control a processor to detect a specified condition resolvable by in-person service at a service kiosk that includes a set of compartments. Each compartment is adapted to store an electronic device in a manner that provides a data connection to the electronic device while restricting communications involving the electronic device to the data connection. The instructions further control the processor to generate a request for technician support responsive to detecting the specified condition. The instructions further control the processor to authenticate that a technician is physically present at the service kiosk. The instructions further control the processor to grant physical access to compartments associated with the specified condition.

Service kiosk access

Examples associated with service kiosk device configuration are described. One example includes authenticating a user at a service kiosk. The user is authenticated based on a credential provided by the user. A service profile associated with the user is loaded. The service profile describes a device assigned to the user. An operable connection between the service kiosk and the device is established. Service information is obtained from the user via an interface at the service kiosk, from the service profile, and from the device via the operable connection. The service information describes a technical issue associated with the device. The device is configured via the operable connection to resolve the technical issue.

Service kiosk device configuration

Examples associated with service kiosk device provisioning are described. One example receiving authentication information associated with a user at a service kiosk. A specification of a device to be delivered to the user, and provisioning data for configuring the device to be delivered to the user are also received at the service kiosk. A selected device is selected from a set of devices stored in compartments of the service kiosk. The set of devices are also operably connected to the service kiosk. The selected device is selected according to the device specification. The selected device is configured based on the provisioning data. A credential matching the authentication information is received from a user via an interface of the service kiosk. Physical access is provided to a compartment of the service kiosk in which the selected device is stored.

Service kiosk device provisioning

Examples associated with service kiosk access are described. One example includes monitoring the contents of a set of compartments of a service kiosk. Each compartment is capable of storing at least one electronic device in a manner that provides a power to the electronic device and a data connection to the electronic device. Upon reaching a specified condition, a request is generated for a technician to provide physical service for the service kiosk. The specified condition may be related to a status of the service kiosk, contents of the compartments of the service kiosk, and/or statuses of the contents of the compartments of the service kiosk. The technician is authenticated as being physically present at the service kiosk, and physical access to compartments associated with the specified condition is granted to the technician.

Examples associated with device storage isolation are described. One example apparatus includes a set of receptacles for electronic devices. Each receptacle includes a power connector to provide power to an electronic device stored in the receptacle, a network connector to provide a network connection to the electronic device stored in the receptacle, and a locking mechanism to secure contents of the receptacle. Members of the set of receptacles are digitally isolated from other members of the set of receptacles. The apparatus also includes an authentication module to authenticate a user based on a credential provided by the user. The authentication module controls a selected locking mechanism of a selected member of the set of receptacles based on the credential and based on data received from a remote information technology module. The apparatus also includes a user interface module to instruct the user through the process of storing a received electronic device in the receptacle or retrieving a provided electronic device from the receptacle.

Device storage isolation

In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a method may include receiving, at an optical receiver of a first device, a transmission signal from an optical transmitter source of a second device. The method may include decoding the transmission signal to generate a pairing code, and using the pairing code to pair the first and second devices together for wireless communication. The method may include granting a level of access control of the first device to the second device via the wireless communication, wherein the level of access control is based on the pairing code.

Access control levels between devices

Example implementations relate to application access based on a network. For example, a computing device may include a processor. The processor may detect that the computing device is connected to a particular network and may identify an identifier associated with the particular network. The processor may access settings indicating a subset of applications associated with the identifier of the particular network, where the subset of applications is part of a set of applications available on the computing device. The processor may restrict access to the subset of applications based on the settings.

Example implementations relate to a printing an image on a substrate and printing an ultraviolet-sensitive finishing mark on the substrate using ultraviolet-sensitive ink. The ultraviolet-sensitive finishing mark can be visible under ultraviolet light.

A photo printing and networking system includes a kiosk for uploading one or more digital image files corresponding to one or more digital images; a kiosk network in electronic communication with the kiosk; and data transfer means for transferring the one or more digital image files from the kiosk to a third party recipient via the kiosk network.

System and method for disseminating digital images

A method of removing inserted text from a digital image includes recognizing the inserted text in the digital image using optical character recognition; and replacing pixels of the digital image corresponding to the inserted text so as to remove the inserted text from the digital image. A computer program product for removing inserted text from a digital image includes an inserted text removal program stored on a computer-readable medium, the program including an optical character recognition module for recognizing inserted text in a digital image; and an extrapolation module for replacing pixels corresponding to the inserted text in the digital image with replacement image pixels so as to remove the inserted text from the digital image. A photo printing kiosk includes an interface for receiving a digital image; an optical character recognition module for recognizing inserted text in the digital image; and an extrapolation module for replacing pixels corresponding to the inserted text in the digital image with replacement image pixels so as to remove the inserted text from the digital image.
