Device for controlling at least one throttle cross-section at a control

In control motors having an armature rotatable counter to a spiral spring, a problem arises that the set force of the spiral spring can be changed by the process of installation. The disclosed control motor is intended to enable setting of the force of the spiral spring after installation. To enable setting of the force of the spiral spring after installation, relative to which an armature of a control motor is rotatable, a shaft on which the armature is supported is screwed with a screw end into a threaded bore of a housing bottom end. Connected to the shaft is an adjusting element, which with a driver arm engages an end portion provided on the outer end of the spiral spring. By rotating the ends of the shaft, which are accessible from outside, the force of the spiral spring can be changed. The invention is preferably applicable to idling adjusters, but it is not limited to this field of application.

Electric control motor

A pivoting armature which functions as part of an electric control motor is rotatably supported on a shaft in a housing of the electric control motor and has a pole carrier on which pole shoes are mounted, the pole shoes being joined to the pole carrier in a rotationally fixed manner. The pole shoes can be produced by sintering or welding on a pole shoe ring that is pressed onto the pole carrier, or by stacks of laminates.

Pivoting armature of an electric control motor

An electric control motor and a method of making the same are proposed for the driving of a control element. The electric control motor comprises a housing made from a ferromagnetic material, a housing enclosure and a cap, a shaft rotatably disposed therein on which an armature is disposed for association with arcuate poles provided in the housing. An electromagnetic coil comprising coil portions is mounted axially with respect to the armature in coil retainers encapsulating the armature and shaft as a unit for ease of assembly in the housing.

A device is proposed for controlling a flowthrough cross section in a controlled line, in particular in a line carrying operating medium in internal combustion engines, in order to exert influence on the idling rpm of the engine. The device includes an actuation member comprising an immersion-coil magnet system which engages an actuation shaft with which a first valve member and a second valve member are connected. The coaxial guidance of the actuation shaft in the valve housing is effected by means of two guide diaphragms held in place relative to one another by attachment to the housing on their circumference. The valve members are identical in shape and each cooperates with a valve seat provided in a valve plate in the identical direction. The air flow may be effected via inlet apertures provided in the tubular section of the valve housing exhausting via the opened valve seats to outlet apertures in the cap.

Device for controlling a flowthrough cross section in a control line

A control device with an electric servo motor is proposed, by means of which a throttle device can be operated, which opens, to a greater or lesser degree, the passage diameter of a flow line, especially the passage diameter of a by-pass line around a throttle valve disposed in the intake line of an internal combustion engine. The control device has an elastic element which moves the throttle device, during an interruption of the current supply to the electric servo motor into a defined position opening the passage diameter of the flow line.

Control element

An adjustment device having a servomotor and arranged for rotary angle adjustment is proposed. The rotary portion is connected via a shaft with a throttle device which controls the cross section of a bypass line bypassing a throttle valve disposed in the intake tube of an internal combustion engine. The adjustment device is axially limited on one end by a cap, which is embodied as a cast part together with a portion of the bypass line. The throttle device is embodied as a rotary slide and with a control portion transversely penetrates the cap and the bypass with the control portion arranged to open the bypass to a greater or lesser extent depending on the position of the rotary slide. Between an armature of the servomotor and the rotary slide, a sealing disc is loosely guided on the shaft. As a result of a pressure drop at the sealing disc, the sealing disc can be pressed against a sealing face of the cap in order to keep the leakage air quantity as small as possible.

Adjustment device for rotary angle adjustment

An electromagnetic final control element is proposed which serves to generate a repeatable rotary motion throughout a limited rotary angle. The electromagnetic final control element includes electrical current supply conductors connected between a plug on the housing and an armature which are formed as elastically deformable conductors secured at one end on an outer roller path body having an outer roller path associated with each current conductor and, on the other end, are secured on an inner roller path body with an inner roller path connected with the armature. Each outer roller path extends eccentrically with respect to the inner roller path whereby the distance between the inner roller path and the outer roller path increases in the roll-off direction of the current conductors from the outer roller path. Thus, it is possible to have an electrical current supply free of retrograde force between the plug and the armature. The ends of the current conductors are eyelet-like and are inserted into corresponding recesses in the inner roller path body and the outer roller path body, respectively. As a result of the contact pins inserted into the eyelet-like ends of the current conductors, there is a positive contact of the current conductors on the one end with the plug and on the other end with the armature.
